@brown_coconut ..yes thats thr...even t sexond best rated B school of our country IIM C doesn't hv 100% placement......yesterday I met a guy who was prev working in ONGC for 3+ yr, later joined IIM C and is unemployed from a yr now...he told me more than 50 guys remained unplaced.....hard to believe but truth>>>>

Life is all about taking risks ... 😃 !! Going to an IIM if u don work hard ,... no guarantee ... that u r gonna be placed ..sometime luck plays a part ..but that's always der ... even CAT/XATare at times driven by luck ...

@jhaavinash Bhai, People from TIME/CL/IMS all told me that IMT is not the IMT of yesteryear, It has lost its sheen, Colleges like TAPMI/GIM are on par if not better than IMT, Speak to any1 from those institutes, they will tell you the same..
It seems like many ppl don't know the basic facts but they are awaiting for the result based on the ranking and old brand....don't get fooled by these facts...
Anyways total no of seats in IMT G is 600 including 180 seats for DCP...

Another thing.....fees is 12.15 that is only TUITION FEES.......u hav to bear ur other expenses as well

As far as I know last year no waitlist no. were allotted to candidates.!

@jhaavinash Bhai IMT is indeed better than TAPMI or even GIM IMO. Tapmi has a huge batch as well and IMT is near Delhi as u said.
Then TAPMI calls everyone for GD-PI,GIM cut off is arnd 77-80 %ile and IMT-G's cut off is 90 %ile...Quality of students and alumini network should also be considered...
@dip_CAT_mania I don't agree with you on fees.. 12.15 lacs includes everything including hostel accommodation and food. Sir, and please post the link about mr. kamath or mr. kamal nath or whatever. And seriously, would you consider colleges like GIM and TAPMI to be in IMT's league? I mean GIM, really ???? TIME faculty told my friend to consider kjsom or bimtech noida over GIM, so you really want to say that BIMTECH/KJSOM > IMT. If reputation doesn't matters, then why shouldn't we join MISB Bocconi 😛

If you expect a vast batch of 640 to achieve 100 % placements, you must be kidding me !! In order to achieve 100 % placements, job offers as low as 4-5 lacs per annum are also provided. It's also rumored that iim lucknow's batch average package is 9 lacs.
And last of all, let us concentrate on final results instead of start worrying about the placement scenarios from different people. You'll find such posts on every college's thread, don't know the intentions though

@letscore102 Even last year , the results were out by 22nd of March and considering some interviews are still going on , expect the results to be out at the end of march or first week of april
