Just got a call from the admission office about my query, I had a very low 70's CAT score and a 93 XAT score..I had applied in January after the registration window was reopenend. They confirmed my email ID and said they had sent a N/H based call in January.


I confirmed to them that I haven been regularly checking my mailbox and that I positively recollect not receiving any communication from IMT about a scheduled GD-PI. The person was reasonable, and though for them it was a case of me choosing not to attend the N/H based GD-PI, he said he would accomodate me in the process that will happen at either of the Institute campuses at Nagpur/Hyderabad or Ghaziabad campus.(This will also give me a chance to convert at IMT-G campus)

I think though the process hasn't been very convinient for some of the applicants,it was great step from the institute to understand our problems and help us overcome them.

Seniors, Please consider this as a honest input that email service though mostly reliable does not necessarily guarantee proper communication. If IMT,next year, could update the status of the application in the login provided, it will help reduce the ambiguity for the applicants as well as help the admission departement avoid a lot of its rework like in my case.

Anyways,hoping to hear from IMT soon!!!

When will you declare the final results..?? Have u stopped calling ppl or still conducting interviews..?? Give us some info as on whats gng on in the admission process as we have applied spending ~1700..???

This institute has to be the most non communicative one ever. For Christs sake,some of us gave the interview on Feb 1st.

Sab results ek sath ayenge bhailog, does not matter when your GD was.
And considering there has to be a round of mails which will happen before results, abi aaram se. End of march is my guess..

Hey guys...Just a few questions..

1)Has IMT Ghaziabad decided to increase the no of seats this year?How many seats will there be for dis year?
2)Have heard from many sources that the placements at IMT G are good only for the top 20% of the batch..Is this info true...Also Seniors kindly throw light abt the placement stats so far...Companies,Packages etc...Are any students left to be placed?If so how many?...
Please sum1 respond..I have been hearing these rumours....Just wanted to clarify them..Need these details...Thanks...

since the batch size is too large, some students don't get placed...understood....but what about the summer placements? do all the students get good companies for summer internships? what was the scene this year - 2013? if that daata is not available, can someone talk abt the summer placements last year?
