In case you do not receive a confirmation email on completing the online application, you can still log on to the to the €˜Admissions Portal €™, which will have the updated status on your application.
I received the response that the form is successfully submitted, But in the application I cannot see the status anywhere. Can this be a problem?

no, its not a problem...I applied during november but some days ago I logged in and what I found was shockin
my DOB was 1 jan 1940
thank god, they still allow us to make changes in our application..Otherwise surely they would have rejected a person of 73 yrs of age 
can someone who got a call confirm the e-mail address from which they got de mail???? so that we can ensure it doesn't go into the spam folder....
