i have heard IMT z giving calls on d basis of wen u filled the form..is it true..i've 94.29 wid 92 in both sections..no calls yet..plz help..very anxious...applied after cat result..

I've got the mail regarding GD-PI but I've my GE-PI of SCMHRD on the given date(4/2/2013) so what's the procedure to change the date?????

As mentioned earlier that calls are being sent on the basis of your gdpi center and further they will be sent in slots. So u all just need to be patient.
2) GD-PI conversions will be mailed to candidates individually. No combined list will be released.
3) The emails for the same will be sent out phase-wise - first for a few centres, then later on for the other centres. So don't panic if you have a good score and you don't get a call in the first release of GD-PI emails.
4) Some of you with a poorer CAT score might get a call for Nagpur/Hyderabad campus initially. Again, don't panic and DEFINITELY ATTEND THE INTERVIEW FOR THE SAME. Later on, if your XAT score is good, you will be considered for Ghaziabad campus also. (And your specialization preferences for the now-converted IMT-G call will be taken from you later.)
5) If you have not given CAT but only XAT/GMAT – you will not get a call in the first list but later on.So what it means is that you will NOT get 2 interview calls. But for final evaluation, your best score will be taken.
So, to sum up, We have the following possibilities:
a) You get a good CAT score and get the campus call you want.
b) You couldn't do well in CAT - you didn't get a call for IMT at all OR
c) Based on your CAT score, you got a call under the Nagpur or Hyderabad campus.Do attend the interview. The interview is a standardised metric, used across all campuses. Later, when your XAT results are considered -
d) you didn't get a call at all earlier - but now you get one.
e) you got a call for Nagpur/Hyd earlier, attended the interview - but your XAT score is good enough to qualify you for a Ghaziabad convert - then your XAT score will be considered for final evaluation and Not the CAT score.
Let's make one thing very clear - IMT is Not forcing you to join any campus. The choice is up to you.
6) Specialisation preferences – you will have to provide these later, in a separate form – when you get a GD-PI call.

I have score 96+ %le and still not shortlisted.
I applied for the IMTs after CAT results were out. I only have submitted the application online and haven't sent any copies of marksheet. It is there on their website that they would retrieve the CAT scores from IIM. Even called them to confirm it.
Have I missed out on something? Should I wait for the short-lists for the other centers? I have given only CAT. Is the CAT score being considered for the next shortlists?

No you haven't missed out on anything...yes the CAT score is being considered for the shortlists. You will certainly get the call in the next few days...:)

Can you please elaborate on this process. It seems weird to me. The only difference is that I have filled it late. Can this be the reson?

@hgupta88 Thank you fo your contribution. The quote was really Well Said, but let me know one thing. The calls released right now are centre wise right ? This means right now only mumbai centre candidates are getting calls as assumed from the previous posts. And then later IMT-G will send call letters to other centres which is outside mumbai. So the question is that will Mumbai candidates have no other chance from IMT-G on cat based scores after 3rd Feb ? Will then never come back to mumbai aspirants and only end the gdpi process by giving calls to other centres and then xat candidates and then finished. ? Or is the scenario like Mumbai will come into the picture again ? and we will keep getting calls only date wise ? Because if this is the case then the aspirants all over the country should have got calls for their preferred centre for the 3rd feb date..
Its jus a confusion from the above faq's thats why raised the query.. We are with IMT-G and desperately want to be there that is why so much fuss in this thread. Hope you take it calmly about so many questions being raised here..
I have a query, I have applied only through xat(97%ile), when do i update my score on imt admission portal & when will xat shortlist come out???
I had applied on 9th Jan (on the day of CAT results). 95.03%ile. I'd opted for Mumbai centre. Don't have any email yet. Do we have to check on their website? I am getting very anxious now. Do they consider sectionals?
