Just checked the letter of acceptance and this is what it says

I understand that the admission offer is provisional and is subject to my fulfilling the conditions laid down in the Appendix to the admission offer letter. This is important for me because the few days that the letter will take to reach my home is very crucial for me.

Well..as I have said earlier,after 4 rejects in a row,it feels so nice to be the part of IIM I.
I have few queries as well and I believe Jalan & Pranav will answer these.:poketounge:
1:What are the things which we need to carry when we come to Indore.( Things which we use in daily routine.)
2:What type of hostel facility will be their. I mean single/twin sharing. And I heard IIM B has ACs attached in the rooms,do we have similar facilities @ IIM I also.
just curious about the new era of my life @ IIM I so want to ask the things which I wanted to know.

The hostel rooms at I are all single acco. THough they dont have ACs I dont think you need them as most of the winter months u can hardly step out without a sweater.
As for the things that are required to be carried with you when you hit the campus, hold your queries... there will be city wise formal and informal interactions with your immediate senior batch.. Save all your queries for then.... it worth the wait and apart from getting relieved from your jobs nothing you need there is more than a visit to a store away

Well no IIMs have AC attached in the rooms 😃 We have single rooms for everybody and trust me the quality of the rooms, furniture and other facilities are amongst the best you'll find in any college. You'll be provided bed, computer tables, cupboards, curtains, water flask, chairs, dustbins, tubelights, fans and every other imaginable and unimaginable stuffs
(ok i know i m going too far)On a serious not laptop is one of the most thing u'll require... And we'll be there to assist you in procuring one if you don't already have... We (infact 5 IIMs together) to different vendors to get the best possible bulk deal for the upcoming batch.. details for the same would be communicated to you soon..

1. No need to carry much. You will be provided with mattresses, water flask, glass etc. in ur rooms. Pillow you can buy here only. Just carry your clothes, shoes, towel etc. If you don't have a full formal dress, get it made as it will be required occasionally for presentations etc.
2. The rooms have single occupancy and are spacious. There will be a large enough study table, couple of chairs, bed, mirror and wooden almirah in the room. And the weather at the campus is generally good. You won't feel the need for coolers or AC. The only time its really hot here is when people are out for their summer internship .

none of us is there at the campus as we are having summer internship. last yr waitlist moved till arnd 40-45 so that may give u an idea.

don't worry dude u can wear anything in classrooms. sometimes ppl wake up so late that they just get up and rush to the class as it is
can someone from IIM-I, get the info from the Admissions Office, as to how many final offers were made, and how many folks were waitlisted?
and what exactly can waitlisted candidates expect on 8th May...is it just the waitlist number?

You can wear anything for your classes except shorts (Anything that is decent)
