Just for your info I am posting the LOAN RELATED details of our Batch...
The documentary requirements for the loan are:
- Photocopy of Your photo id proof (PAN, Driving license,
Passport)
- Photocopy of any of your parents' photo id proof and
photograph
- Photocopy of proof of residence (Electricity Bill, Telephone
bill)
- Your Photographs
- Your offer letter
Your parent need not accompany you. However if his signature
is at all needed, the loan form can be couriered to him and his signature obtained.
Last year State Bank of Indore also asked for following documents,
1. Father's IT return for the last 3 years
2. Father's signature on the loan agreement
I hope this year also there won't be much change in conditions.

Since my and my family's financial condition is not so good i am more concerned about the amt to be paid at the time of registration(67,400) on 30 JUNE. I have arranged for the amount to book the seat.
Does the institute give time to get the loan sanctioned and then pay them.
Also tell me what was the rate of interest offered at the institute for the loan..
If its not better than what i am getting here, there is no point taking the loan at the institute.
Is there any financial help for needy people? If yes at what conditions???

Our SWAC Financial adviser would be finalising the deal with a few banks. The deal will definitely give you lower interest rates than the normal. The loan transactions / sanctions at the campus does not take more than 2-3 hrs (if your documents are ready)
The Financial adviser will be able to provide more details...
Can i get a edu loan for the amount of Rs 67,400/- to be paid on 30 June or is it to be paid from my pocket. ppl say to avail the loan once u reach the campus but i dunno how to pay the amount at registration when u land up at the place only a day earlier.

Hi devvishnu,
You will have to pay up the confirmation amount from your pocket. On the day of registration there would be representatives from banks on campus. They will bring DDs for the second installment (the one to be paid on the day of registration) with them. U can pay up the installment using it. You need not pay it from your pocket.
All these things will be done on the day of registration itself. You just need to have a few photographs, address proof copies and certain other documents to complete the process. The details would be communicated to you in due course by the SWAC FA.

I know the pain of being on Indore waitlist cuz it tends to be huge and many people have this as their solitary call. Strange that this year their is no seperate thread to discuss on Indore WL movement. Hope this can help a bit.

Hey catapult I appreciate ur effort... but the final calls given are generally more than the number of seats... so it may happen that there are 100 ppl not joining and still waitlist movement is Nil... or many other combinations. So it will be tough to predict the waitlist movement.

As far as i know no one who got offer under obc has been waitlisted in general category. You either have to produce non creamy certificate or forfeit the seat. Hope this helps
Can any1 tell whether there is separate waiting list for the general candidates and the obc candidates...n r the obc candidates not eligible for general candidates...?????
i gt a waitlist no. 19 under obc category..nt able to figure out whther m elgible for general seats or not..!!
