Last year, the Sectional Cutoff for QA was below 3 marks (marking scheme: +1 -0.33). And this year's QA Section seemed equally tough, if not tougher. So would it be right to assume that the CutOff for QA this year will not cross 9 (marking scheme: +3 -1) ?
I think its kinda unethical for students to blame nta for not mentioning about the iift sectional cut offs because anyone who know even a bit about iift exam,it is unique because of its sectional cut offs and to manage time between sections. So im petty sure people would have tried to clear the sectionals in the exam but some students when they are doubtful after the exam , kind off blamed on the iift for not mentioning. No hate comments please, its just my opinion. Who all agree with me?

"Mai Anilji. Bhoole toh nhi?"
Cut-off wagairah toh chaltaa hi rahegaa bhailog but jahaan tak iss group se memories banaane ki baat hai, don't forget Anilji. An aam aadmi, Anilji sits at IIFT Delhi admissions office (AO). I don't know how this meme-game began last year, but the most reliable version goes like this: IIFT, being IIFT had gone on a spree of false, unfulfilled promises about the declaration of results of the written test. People were giving calls to the AO left, right & centre and Anilji was one of the many members responding to the calls. Now, this is the meme-generation and anything catches on pretty quickly if it's funny (just ask one Vipin Sahu). Thereon began the Anilji saga as he was used as a symbol for the entire working methodology of IIFT department about declaring results.
Lots and lots of yaadein as the meme spread out to the 20 or so ... groups that were active for IIFT call getters. I remember making a lot of friends, all of whom I'm still in touch with.
Competition in India is already cutthroat as it is, guys. The anxiety and the pressure of the results/performance is something all of you will go through together. One of the way to cope with it is helping each other out during these turbulent, anxious and stressful times. The cheerful spirit and some lighthearted memories is what you will take away from this wonderful journey you're about to undertake, regardless of the end result. Why not walk through it with smiles on your faces?
Here's to hope that this group remains the discussion forum it's meant to be with a dollop of Anilji-ism spread out evenly. All the best to everyone :)

Asking if one will get call or not is like asking if the cat is alive in the Schrodinger's Cat experiment (for my science guys) or will the sensex go up tomorrow (for my commerce guys). Both the answers, yesor no, are correct till 11th. So tab tak chill karo and watch Mandolorian and The Irishman

Was the circular arrangement set (relation-alphabet-occupation) in LR a correct set ?
That DI question jisme customer 102 mentioned tha ..woh toh saaf galat tha..though it can be argued ki table ke values dekh ke we could have deciphered but to mention something wrong to explain a DI set is totally wrong..I totally feel that usme grace milna chahiye.
Hello everyone!
Why has the number of applicants for IIFT exam drastically reduced from over 50k last year to under 40k this year?
- Number of CAT applicants increased this year, albeit by just 3k
- The job market isn't doing too well. So, if anything, the number of people seeking to go for higher studies should increase
- A cursory glance at this year's placements doesn't reveal any red flags
- There hasn't been a drastic increase in the application fees of the exam or in the tuition fees of the college
The only major change has been a move from paper-based test to computer-based test.
Please don't look too much into this question, I am just a little curious and vella before my NMAT.
