They have started sending mails for exam also. Even before the last date for registration. Though I registered on May 17, yet to receive any mail.

This should most probably (100% sure from my side but just wanted to play safe) be for the NISM program that you must have applied and not for the MBA program... I too applied for both NISM and MBA, got the test date for NISM... Hey PUYS ... dont get tensed... just chill... it is for NISM and not for MBA as far as i am concerned.... if any views are different from mine, let me know ... even am waiting eagerly for the MBA exam date.. 😃

Is the previous year's paper is available??? can some one give link to tat..

Hi...
anyone got any mail from ICICI...
I applied on 15th may but yet to recieve any correspondance from ICICI....

Possibly they will start sending mails after June 25, which is the last date for registration.

But the subject and heading of the mail from ICICI Careers is

ICICI Business Leadership Programme Selection Process.

Thats why its all very confusing.

we may receive the confirmation for the mba programme after june 25th..as it is the last date for applying it..

I got to know the pattern for the MBA program-written test that took place for April 2011 intake.Given below is one of the posts.

The test was not tough....was not very easy too due to less time available per question....There were 5 sections:
1. Reading Comprehension (very easy) 5 questions in 9 min
2. Quant (not too easy due to time given) 20 questions in 18 min
3. Sentence correction (quite easy) dont remember time/no. of questions exactly
4. Diagrammatic reasoning (very easy) dont remember time/no. of questions exactly
5. Analogies (Quite easy) dont remember time/no. of questions exactly

Test time was 44 min...... negative marking info not given...

But, i m sure, due to level of the test, there will lot of people above 97-98 percentile

U will be asked to fill the form, which u filled while submitting the application, again at the test centre.

But for the test on June 17th for NISM the test pattern is entirely different. So,I think it can be inferred that there will be a separate process for the MBA program.

FROM the NISM thread for ICICI, i came to know from one of the PUYS that we can sit either for NISM or for MBA but not both... He says that one of the HR from ICICI who called him has said this... Any one of you have any idea of this? Please ask the ICICI HR the same in case they call you. Thanks a lot for your help!!

Well my take is something different.....

I believe that due to shortage of time the test was more or less like the PO exam(for the first batch of MBA pgm). Those who have appeared for the selection process must be able to justify it...

Since there was less time in hand with ICICI so they did watever they could have done in the short span of time...(even in the email/call letter of seleciton process of MBA for april batch clearly mentioned...Numerical ability...verbal ability...etc , like everybody else I too expected it to be on cat format with lesser complexity but it tuened out to be different...)

May be this time we can get a clue from NISM seleciton process that the test pattern for MBA would be more or less similar.....to it...

Hope for the best!

Disclaimer:- These are my personal views based on my experience...others may differ....

Last year i took PO test of ICICI and d pattern was same as stated above. In my opinion the questions were too easy to b there and I believe that i didnt mark a single wrong option (and u cant leave it......no negatives)My only apprehesion was wat if i mark even a single wrong answer since cut off had to b around 100% So if the level is same then it is anything but tough

p.s. I got call for GDPI

Got many sms from ICICI to attend the program and got an email also.

Need to complete personality test by today EOD and only 1 hr left now.. Don't know what will happen!

But totally confused whether to attend or not. Did anyone got info, if we can appear in both PGCSM and MBA entrance test?

Gave the online test today at 12 30 PM in Chennai.

Difficulty level was that of SNAP/NMAT.

Quant - 40 Qs
Verbal - 25 Qs
Logical - 25 Qs
Finance GK - 10 Qs

I attended around 75.There was negative marking also.Fingers crossed for the results.
