Have applied for the ICICI BLP Program... any idea of when we will get the confirmation and the date of the exam please....

How do we check if we got any confirmation... is it on the icici site or will there be any mail that would be sent? or would it be both??

u have applied and done your bit 😃 now chill and forget about it. One fine day the sun will rise, u will see a rainbow in the sky and birds fluttering outside your window, then u will get a call from ICICI. The message will say "mein amitabh bachhan bol raha hoon kaun banega manager ICICI se".....lol

Dude, ICICI mgmt is really laid back for these programs. Please have patience and wait tirelessly. My exp says (after reading 99 pages of posts and checking ICICI career page on a daily basis) we will get some reply in September end or may be in August end if we are lucky.

If you have also applied for NISM course than none of the applicant has received any reply from ICICI and expect something in first week of June.

Hi Puys,

Would like to know two things:

1- I have applied for NISM as well as NIIT MBA oct 2011 batch. If I get a call for NISM entrance test and attend it, can I still appear for test of NIIT ICICI MBA programme? If I get a call and don't attend it, an another case?

2- What were the different sections in the entrance exam for NIIT ICICI MBA program? Also, please let me know, the difficulty level.

There is no way these ppl gonna stop u from sitting in any exam. Once you clear your NISM exam, u can appear for MBA too. but the choice depends in your hands whether you want to continue ur NISM course (if get selected and join it) or want to leave it and join MBA (conditions apply !! :P).


If i get selected in both the exams my startegy would be to join NISM first (just to be on a safer side, i do not have love for certificate course) and then leave the program and join MBA at a loss of some 3 lakhs (well surity comes at a price). Frankly, the weightage of MBA prog is much more that NISM certificate and gives you a jump in the organization. So dun worry "pehle exam to de lo yaar :P"

Also, the previous 99 pages gives an idea that the exam is very easy. If you have taken GMAT/CAT in past and have scored decent than you can do well in the exam. but remember these exams are always comparative and this time the number of candidates is expected to increase. :P

So prepare well in advance :P

Total seats were 120 and only 81 got filled not sure on how many candidates applied but applicants could be around 5K-6K (estimated in previous posts) and around 1000 made it for GD/PI

I attended the ICICI -NIIT programme in Feb-2011 in Bhubaneswar. But I found that all candidates, who attended written test were ICICI Group candidates only. And selected candidates from GD also ICICI group candidates only. This is very stunning one to me......

I think case study paper might be leaked in Bhubaneswar........

Basic knowledge of Quant and English would be enough to clear the Written exam. GD,interview and quality of work Exp are the main.
