I would satisfy the 3 year work experience criteria only by the end of july. The website states that the last date of application is 25th june. Am i eligible to apply and if i apply, will then consider my candidature?
Please reply and i would apply based on the reply that i would get. Thanks a lot for the help in advance.

Dear pkrishnammag & other puys
Please be patient, as I quoted earlier please read the whole blog from starting, you will get to know the present batch profile & it will also answer your 3-year query, along with others.
You are very much eligible, please go ahead, one person in our batch is just 2 or 3 mnths short of 3 yrs of experience. If you meet all other eligibilities this experience issue can be taken care of.
In any case you should apply, as you will get to know your application status within few days & there is no application fees, so there is no point of not applying because of some confusion.
All the best puys.
P.S
1) Please be patient in terms of getting your responses as I quoted earlier that we have busy schedule & we might not be visiting PG daily. We will try to close the queries in a week time. Read this complete post from starting again, lots of your doubts will be cleared.
2) The views expressed are personal.
@ Raavan - Thanks. Can you help us by giving more details on exam.
I understand you ppl must be very busy but that will be great help.

Can't say much, your profile is good and related to the course :)
If they have an automated system then u fall on the salty side but if they are scrutinizing each application manually then luck might favor you. Fingers Crossed. All the Best

Hi Puys,
I applied for the PO program for this may 2011 but wasnt selected. ALso there is a question asked while filling the form as hav you applied for this post (I mean this leadership program). What should I put there ? should I say NO ?
Also when will the written be conducted ?
hii puys
i have some queries, hope to get it resolved.
1) Does the JOB profile which ICICI will be offering 2 yrs down the line involves marketing and achieving targets ?? if the ans is yes ,then if someone doesnot want to go into marketing, then is there any other choice??
2) what will be approx in hand salary? the P.O Programme offered through Manipal promises to give 4 lc package but the inhand salary is in the range 20k-25k per month..

for question 2)
It all depends what sort of ctc breakup is offered by ICICI...whether its 80:20(appox 80-85K) or 70:30 (70-75K) or 60:40 (65-70K) in the FIXED:VARIABLE pay
values in brackets shows appox in hand salary...
for question 1)
The variable pay may partially depends on the targets sets...
but this may not be as strict as it is in hardcore marketing jobs...
and yes as its written on the ICICI careers website....its all as per choice of the ICICI bank depending on the demand at the time of completion of course that a particular department is alloted..

well not sure about the implications of putting Yes .....
I have applied in the previous selections of NIIT-ICICI MBA program and was not selected. This time I have applied and put that I have applied in the last 6 months while submitting the application.
Anyways...even if they have some criteria of not entertaining the candidates who has applied in last x months....then even if you put Yes or No....
they would be able to filter out since they have the other personal details...which can not be changed even if a person applies for n times
my suggestion....
go ahead and dont be skeptic..and put that you have applied..
Good luck!

If you have not applied for the ICICI Business Leadership program the last time, then just put a NO....its that simple...hope that helps.
Hello guys,
This is Rahul Sharma here from present batch of ICICI BLP. The answers to some of your queries are mentioned below:
1. If you have not applied for the subject program, please say NO in the forms. If applied, please say YES. It is always better to be honest, than to hide your face from the panel members at the time of interview, if they catch you....
2. As far as course for aptitude test matters, please do not panic. Just have a glimpse of some basic mathematices, volcabs & little bit of critical and verbal reasoning. If anyone of you has prepared for GMAT, it would help a lot coz the questions were of same fashion (but on the easier side). I have not given CAT, so cant say about CAT.
3. Exam would be held at various centres across India & once the exam at all centres is over, the results would be declared in maximum 10 days' time. Again, if there are delays, do not panic coz it would be panic for yourself only. Results wont appear earlier if the intensity of your panic is greater.
4. Selection for aptitude exam will be done purely on ur merits & past experience (irrespective of sectors). It is not that if you are from commercial/finance/banking background, you would be selected. In our batch too, most of us are from non-financial (engineering) background, including me.
5. Last thing for now (but very important). Please do not post unnecessary queries here. The moderator is watching the traffic of posts & if your posts are meaningless, he may lock the group (samething happened with our group at one point of time). So please take care. If some of you are regular on PG, u may surely exchange your contact details THROUGH PRIVATE MESSAGE ONLY. DO NOT POST ANY PRIVATE DETAIL ON THE WALL POST.
I hope the above solves many of your queries.
Will be in touch as much as possible. But as my friend Raavan Thakur mentioned, we may not be in a position to reply to your posts daily. So, please excuse us for the same.
Regards,
Rahul
Hi Rahul (and others who are presently going through the course)
Have a few queries.
1. You should have received the curriculum of the course. Is it possible for you to share it with us (future aspirant).
2. How is a typical day at NIIT. Do people from ICICI bank also come to take classes.
3. Most of you have told on this thread how the interview went. Will it possible for you to share some of the typical questions other than the general one like Tell me about yourself, etc. Especially for a person who may be changing his career path from a different industry to a banking industry.
4. Did you get any specific info about this programme on your orientation day.
Will come with more queries.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Avinash & thackerha
The majority of the questions you have asked are of no use as of now.
(no intentions to offend you guys).
But at this point of time, it is irrelevant to ask question about curriculum, typical day, interview questions & program day info.
Puys, I request you to prepare well for written exams & do well, written test was of very basic level (I never appeared for CAT or any other management level exam).
Once you will clear this stage, we all here at campus will try to help & respond to each & every relevant query.
Raavan

Guys, as Raavan told, please concentrate on initial stage now rather than thinking about what would happen at the last stage. We would reply to ur queries at the right time.......
regards,
Rahul
Hi Avinash & thackerha

No offence taken

I asked those questions to get a glimpse of what this program is all about. The ICICI site gives limited information. Thought that you might have been told in detail on your orientation day. Some info like What ICICI will give you and what they expect from you in return. (Not limited to monetary wise)
Now regarding the written. Could you please comment on the level of difficulty. On few earlier posts, you all have said that level was easy to moderate. Can you compare the difficulty level to any exam like CAT, MAT, etc. In case if you remember any questions, that would be great.
Was the exam online / paper based.
Heard that exams were conducted on different days. Was that the case. In that case was any normalization done for declaring the written results. (I hate this word Normalization after CAT started using it).
The different sections were:
1. Reading Comprehension
2. Quants
3. Sentence correction
4. Diagrammatic reasoning
5. Analogies
Am i right??
