Received a call from ICICI Bank HR from 022-39857981 regarding the confirmation that I have received the SMS that I have been selected. I told him that I have received SMS regarding the checking of the results at there website and it confirms that I have been in the merit list but till time I haven't receive the mail for the joining process. He informed me that I will get it by today evening or by tomorrow morning..
It's testing my nerves........... hmmmmmmmmmmmm.............. still being patient...........

The people sitting there on HR helplines, have very less information.
They are only giving one relpy........will get mail by today evening or tomorrow morning. Dont know when this evening will end.
Hey guys, I too got a call from the same number from which Mohit got...... I asked them if they could answer some questions, but they denied saying they had no information. They were instructed to just inform the candidates and confirm whether they knew they that were IN... Joining letter obviously by 2day evening (night) or 2morow morning......

I would like to view this in a diff perspective .. wat if the ppl out @ ICICI want to know wat issues we have and think to address the concerns(only if its possible by them) before they send out the formal call letter.
Probably that might be the reason for them sending the SMS today afternoon. So I feel there is nothing wrong in getting our opinions across. cos it shouldn't be a case where they are not able to oblige on certain things once they send the email....

Guys..I think that they may be trying to collate some info from us by these mails and thus could formulate the policies accordingly for eg leaves, attendance, hostel accomodation etc ..Whatever we may ask could be addressed by them in terms of policies and bond they are writing for our batch as this is the first time..This is just my prespective..not sure

am not sure why we are so apprehensive abt dropping an email ... this is the first time ICICI is starting such a course and its also first of its kind in India.. so, we sending an email is not going to send any wrong signals according to me .. it will surely benefit both the parties ..
am pretty sure somebody who is not part of this group would surely have sent an email, so why dont we as a group do it ??

Lets wait for the email from HR before shooting any mail.
I think so we should also ask two questions which looks relevant to me apart for others which has already been asked
1)Do they will have a retention policy as in if suppose 60 out of 80 join .
So if all 60 will be given M2 position and 15 lakh ctc based upon some criteria such as performance and exp .If yes then what will be the criteria.
And if one will not satisfy the criteria what will happen .......i mean if they will be absorbing all of us for sure...
2)Want the job description as to what excatly we will be going to do and expected after completion of training in respective electives
3)Also want the full circulum regarding the topics going to be covered etc....

@ Thakur : No updates... As usual, they would be late in giving out mails..... Just imagine, how will they react if all of us delay in joining???? Will they entertain that???
They are not able to understand that some people have to give 2 or 3 months of notice period....and we are still waiting for letters.
Yes yaar, I don't know why they are taking so much time in sending letter to 81 candidates.
They were so fast & efficient in sending call letters for written test & GD-PI.
Are they in process of selecting more.....just a speculation....but why so much time this time, they are not even answering the calls.
Some mumbai candidates should go in ICICI head office & ask about the status.....
tried calling them but no answer ... At least they should answer calls and give us a clear info about the letters...most of us are waiting for letters so that we can put our papers....

Last time when i called them before the final list was released, they replied that the result will be declared next week..... but on the very same evening list of selected candidates was released....
