Guys, i too called the above mentioned number... Had a bit hot conversation with the guy attending the call and asked the reason for delay..... He mentioned that they were basically responsible for bank PO exams and were informed by the bank to just attend the calls regarding NU ICICI MBA..... They do not know the reasons for delay.... When i pressed hard, they just said that delay was due to some server problem....
You know what is said??? "Aapko aaj shaam 4 baje tak mail mil jaayega... Agar nahi mila to kal shaam tak mil jaayega..."
I said "Thats nonsense, we know that if we dont get mail today, we will get it 2morow, if not 2mrow, then the day after that... But till when we have to play this hide & seek..?"

I am feeling a bit reluctant for the submission of original documents .. as it is mentioned on the website .. moreover, docs will be with 'em for the entire loan period .. which is 5 years ...
Now, can v opt to pay the complete loan during the first year of job itself ???
In such a scenario will v get our original docs back or will they be kept for entire 3 year job bond period ??

@Youthnexus : Well after MBA, it wont be just the loan against your fees.... It would be the total liability amount of 20 Lacs.... If you pay that, they will happily give you back your documents...... They will be keeping the original docs for entire period in order to make sure that you do not just leave & disappear....
I think thats fine... unless you want to really abscond... Working in a company for 3 years is not a big deal... That much stability is surely required.....

Working for 3 years or 5 years is not a big deal, considering you put 2 years of hardwork-living only on stipend for 2 good years.
And for people from Non-Banking background (most of us on PG), its a fair deal to gain knowledge of this sector atleast for 4-5 years. Banking industry is really vast. :cheerio::thumbsup:

I hope they have everything specified in document which they have dispatched which will clear most of de doubts which we have...gud part is reduce de deposit money to 10k..so i guess people who are apprehensive about the course can take de chance..plus programme starts on april 29th so we wil have enough time to gather more info abt it ffrom icici...n den decide whether to go for it r not...

I assume we have to send the document to ICICI head office @ Mumbai ...
but we cant go by that assumption ..
we will have to email them and ask for the address to be sent ..
Got the letter a while ago. It is not directly from ICICI Bank, but from NIIT University, Neemrana. (the undersigned is the head of admissions and placements, NIIT Univ)
The letter does mention about subsidised loan and stipend to all students and guranteed career opportunity with ICICI but does not mention the exact amount/CTC or the role/level.
They have also mentioned that a document from ICICI Bank will also be dispatched by post which will have the ICICI terms and conditions. We need to sign it and submit it to ICICI Bank and a copy to NIIT Univ. I believe more details will be in the dispatched letter.

@Kapil...i think u shud call dem up n tel dem abt de address...n for money i think it is fine if dey are adjusting it in 4.5L n nyways if u dont tak it..it will be forfeited...and address to sent them will be given wid de document which will be dispatched
Guys, the address mentioned there is just the first line of address... Obviously they would not send the couriers to incomplete address...
Secondly, the CTC & stipend thing can not be mentioned in the mail coz the mail is from NIIT university & not ICICI......The CTC etc. details will be mentioned in the document from ICICI.....
Now, again we have to wait for that document... this program asks for waits at every stage....
My address is also incomplete..i guess iits just the first line which they have mentioned..anyone else having this prob???

But I am falling short of a week before my company releases me...lets see..I think once we get the Letters on our address things will be clear as to whom to contact...

Not sure..if the people taking our calls have sufficient info..
guys i am a bit confused regarding the fee. is it 4.5 L or more.
as it is written in mail that 10,000 will be adjusted against partial fee of 4.5L.
