Dear friends,I appeared my written exam on 14th and after half an hour result was declared and then I appeared for the case analysis,extempore and GD and finally after clearing GD I was called for the interview.My interview lasted for 15-20 minutes.They asked me about the capital market,GDP and some questions related to my biodata.
In case analysis the case was mainly finance related but one can handle it easily.Puys best of luck who have their GD/PI today..Any doubt then plz mail me at [email protected] or call me at 09124357368.

Hey Neeladri : Where is it mentioned that the results would be declared on 17th? I m sure I have seen it somewhere, but I m unable to re-collect the same.......

@ rahulsharma...i know u r definitely going to make it..The result declaration date was written on the main page of application status page of ICICI careers.But i think it will be out by 18th morning,boz their HR people were saying so....Lets hope for the best if possible pray for me..
@ Neeladri : Thanks for the info.....Well I am not confident about myself dear..... There were lot of applicants & competition would be fierce.... Just hope that the things are done based on the performance and not on basis of "preferences".....Today was the last day for GD/PI, i guess...... Within next 3 days, things will be clear..... Case study GD was like a fish market but I managed to clear this stage
PI was good. I was 3rd from the start and was asked about Work Experience, about details mentioned in supplementary form and Why aspects of MBA, banking etc
Awaiting results on 18th or 21st not sure..
Any idea whether for this program is 3 years Work Experience mandatory or is there any possibility of considering those with less than 3 years Work Experience ?
since I am also the one with 32 months of work experience.
Is there anyone else who are also having less than 3 years Work Experience?

I had my gdpi at mumbai on 15th...
done B.E.computers from mum...working in top tier IT company
My gd was very good it was about granting of loan...in gd i came with some out of box points..which were not mentioned by others...it was a very good gd..
After gd there was pi..in pi there were 3 people 1 from niit 2 from icici...
the first 2 panelist took the interview for 20 min they asket aout wrk ex and investment banking concepts...i answered each and every question of theirs...
Now it was the turn of the third interviewer to ask he was an hr....he asket me how much wrk ex i have...i told 32 months....then he told that u are ineligible for this....this i told i would complete approx 3 years in 3 months...
Then he told you shld complete 3 years at the time of application..
I was in a state of shock was thinking all this hard work has gone in vain....
Then he was explaining dont wory u can try next time and so on.......
Then after i was done with my interview i stood up to leave all the 3 panelist stood up and shook hands and told all the best and applying....
Dont know whats going to happen...very depressed and dejected....
@ Triple : Dont worry buddy..... just keep ur fingers crossed for the best thing to happen.... even if they dont select u just becoz of ur work ex, u dont have to be depressed, rather u should be proud of urself that u went upto PI yaar.... This is a clear indication that u fit to their requirement..... HR people have to adhere to the conditions of the company...... I think, u should not loose hope & should again try for October intake as now u know the complete process & have passed it successfully too......

Hi All- I had my GD and PI in Bangalore yesterday. My GD was okay but i felt they were selecting very vey few candidates for PI as on an avg only 1/2 guys got selected from each batch(10 people) of candidates who came for the GD.
My PI went on for around 50 mins which was way above the average time it took for others-they questioned me for around 40mins and i questioned them back for 10 more mins. Also i wasnt asked any questions related to finance or banking.
Additionally, i felt that the interviewers were keen on negating whatever i said, which meant the experience was very stressful, although i tried remaining calm and always had a smile and spoke loud and clear about my views.
At the end of the interview i was told that if i am considered for a final call, then it will be for the profile of Corporate Banking and not for Risk Management (my preference) as i dont have any Finance/Technical background. I am not sure about this and not even keen on Corporate Banking.
Please can anyone advice what this means? This is the first time i ever applied for a GD/PI for an MBA program and had no previous experience for GDs.
Also does anyone know how good NIIT University is? Whether the education imparted is of good quality and all? I feel this is significant if we do get selected in the final round(hopefully).

Guys, I called ICICI HR to know the results declaration date. But according to them, still the exams/interviews are going on "at different locations" & will continue till 19th... But I doubt this as I have not seen any post mentioning GD/PI date after 15th.... Please correct me if I m wrong in that......

Rahul- i had a chat yesterday during breaks with one of the interview panel members...he mentioned the interviews will be on till 19/20th. The results are expected only around the 24th. Anyone has heard something similar plz advice?
@ dreamzonwingz...ya i have also talked and the HR team told dat, the result declaration will be late because everything is going on late as per the schedule.I thing around 20th morning we will be getting the merit list.Lets hope for the best....
To how many guys has the interview panel asked the following:
"If you r selected, which specialization would u like to go for and are u ready to relocate anywhere post MBA?"
Please reply so that we can know whether this question was commonly asked to every1 in PI or to few candidates only.....

guys, even i asked the panel about the result and they said.. expect between 21 and 24..
Mine was also a stress interview.. where the panelist tried their best to demotivate me about this program. . not sure what happens..
In Delhi also the PI selection rate was very less ..around ... 1-2 from each grp..

@Vijay : Thats wot i think.... i got one guy to whom this was not asked. So I thought of asking to "puys"... btw, from the above posts, date of result declaration seems to be between 21st & 24th Feb.....
I guess, the decision making time for the selected guys would be 4 days (at most by 28th Feb), if the program is to be started in april...
