Got rejected in GD though I was sure of to get through. Topic was same BBC shipment break Ltd. In my group 3 of 10 selected for PI. Can't say why some time luck not favor .:banghead:

Hi

Yesterday i had my GD & PI in kolkata. It was a nice experience. GD topic was about restructuring the NPAs of a bank, created due to a loan given to ABC Shipping corp. The statement was to decide the project or task of revamping the business & restructuring the debt should be given to which of the 3 companies, bidding for the project with different values. (BBC, sonyo & some other comp. i didnt remember the name ). The case elaborates the 3 companies' profiles and asks the Bank officer Vivek to chose the best party out of the 3.

It was not that tough, i chose BBC corp. In our group 4 were with BBC and 3 were with Sonyo corp (GD team size=7). GD went for about 10 min.
out of 7, 4 were selected and i happen to be the one.

After a wait of 2 - 3hrs appox. i was called for the interview. The panel consisted 4 members. The moment i entered they already had my file, apti marks etc. with them and started stooting question , mostly w.r.t to my area of experience (Steel industry). Later they posed me a case and asked what i will do. Then they jumped to banking terminology n asked about CRR, SLR etc. They also asked me if i have any place preference and did i have any relatives in ICICI bank.

This is how my PI went and the duration of PI was roughly 20 min

Hi All,

I just had my GD/PI at Kolkata.

GD was tough, we had to analyze investment bids of three companies. The same BBC topic discussed above.
Only 1 guy was selected out of the batch of 8 from my group.

PI was very friendly with a panel of 5, mainly work experience related questions.
Overall a nice experience, now keeping the fingers crossed.

I think u have done really well .. asking abt place preference & blood relative shows that u r alredy make it.
