Jus now I completed my case studies , gd and was selected . We had a grp of 10 ppl . We got the same case study as the cement factory - 1)Pearl cement 2) Cement corporation . 1st of all we were given time to jolt down the points . They gave paper and below that a carbon paper was attached. What points u write u can refer then during the GD .Coz they will tak the main paper for evaluation . So the same case study . we wer allowed to talk for jus 1 min . I cound nt manage well to finish off within 1 min . But i said good thou also GD was like fish market . There was ppl from Infy , csc , adp , tcs . All u hav to compete with . Theres no1 who havnt spoke out in GD . All said well ,points after points . If all sayz good and competetion tuff will surely turn out 2 be a fishmarket . Infact I did a good thing by jus sayng if we fight like this we wot be able to conclude a better way . Lets all speak jus 1-1 point . But still again all jumped up n again it turned to be a crap. I guess I was selected for this attemt to pacify all . 
After that out of 10 , 4 wer selected. N I made it cant beleive it thou .Waited for interview for around 3 hours. Since I had a financial background ( IT with banks as client) I said well as to why I want to join ICICI . Evn they asked me bout sme financial crisis that occuerd sme yrs back n I was a bit lucky I knew what was subprime crises n Sovereign crises . All explained them well . It was a good experice overall thou my starting day was very bad. I forgot to tak a print of call letter . Entered after an hour of schedled time. Now its all luck , I hav done my part.

There are many stats n vitals given for both the cement corporation. the case study consists of 2 pages .
ABC is a bank renowned and Mr shekhar is the manager of the bank . There are 2 cement firms -1. pearl 2. cement corporation. asking for a loan . U have constraint of giving a single comp loan . Bassed on the below statistics do a case study on
1) wheathr you would suggest shekhar to give loan to any of cement companies.
2) If you giving loan then wich 1 will be right cop to give loan
statistical data:
1)there is demand of 680 mill tonne of cement whre as Indian cement industry coul produce only 480 mil ton
2)the cement indutry will show a growth of 10-18% in next 5 yrs
3) the power supply and fuel required for running of Cement industry is a major blockage as the fuel prices are incresing and it would cause a prob for cement output/cost yiled.
4)the demand is more in rajastan in nothern regions and in eastern its westbengal.
4) the demand in rajastan is incresing by 10 %, the credit in rajastn by 9%.. and in eastern regions its 12% and 11% for last 2 yrs... smethng lke that sort

(just one thng remember that if this last ratio smethng related to equity if its less then the company is solvent to repay back the debts.-- say this this a good point to be noted.)

Not required, even they asked for 4 cv. In fact one CV is enough. No need to bring salary slip. Don't worry just concentrate on Case study and PI.

Hey Puys, here comes my exp. from Pune. We had 3 groups of GD and in mine the case study was that of marketing popcorn in rural area Sitapur of UP. From the 3 grps, 6,5,5 candidates were selected resp.
If u do not have docs attested by a gazzeted officer it's not a concern as far as originals are with you. In PI they were considering each and everything from your job profile. Why you want to opt for this program and how confident are you in handling stress etc. If you are already a bank employee then be prepared about every minute details related to your job coz they are banking experts :). Also have full knowledge about this course structure and how you think it is going to benefit you. What kind of work are you looking out for after completion of this course. Just be confident and answer everything honestly. Overall had a nice experience. Hope the result turns out well. Fingers crossed.

The dress code was strictly formals with some guys having their suits also put on.
GD - The case had all the stats about Sitapur Village like :
1) 40% of population below 25 years of age - My point from this was target the youth. Sponser events in skuls n clgs like Annual Fest and thus advertise your product to make ppl aware what the brand "Cornley" is all about.
2) 90% of pop had TV in thr house - So advertise the product in TV through commercials featuring their local famous personalities.
3) Sitapur is agriculture based town. 12 lakh was total population out of which 44k are employed in 4 major firms along with some small firms - So i pointed out that only 3.33% of total pop. was employed. We have to make ppl aware that increase in popcorn productivity will lead to inc. in agricultural demand and hence creating more employement opportunities.
4) Sugarcane and Corn (bhutta) are famous products and popcorn is light and healthy - From this point you can mention the drawbacks on health from Sugarcane and Corn and hence switch to popcorn which is health efficient.
5) Popcorns are easy to make and fast to serve. Generation is moving to busy life where ppl want food products which are tasty n healthy and quick to prepare.
6) They are also cheap so ppl in rural areas dnt have to bother abt the price tag of the product.
These all wee my points. Guys during 1 min extempore pls dnt waste time in explaining the scenario. Quickly switch to your points to solve the problem and which one you think is best solution.

I have already posted my experience. Just go to previous posts. You will find many useful things. Also we have did case discussion on same topics. It will surely help you. This was mine topic in case study as well. I was only guy in group who supported Pearl cement. Just put your point clearly and confidently. Provide them valid points why you are supporting A or B.
