As Kalim said....there were 10 groups with 8 ppl in each batch at NBCC, Delhi.
They selected 3-5 from every batch depending upon candidates abilities. The same panel (4 experts for our group) will do GD and PI for the selected candidate.
I was in batch-2, 3 ppl got selected for PI from my batch. I was interviewed for almost 50 minutes though generally ppl were getting interviewed for 20-25 mins.
Though im not fully satisfied as they asked right from the beginning, why this why that? why not Mtech after Btech...then y not BBA than Btech etc. Then they grilled me on my commercial sense. They said they were satisfied with my technical skills but they wanted to check my commercial sense (not knowledge). Lets see how have they pursued....
They gave 30 mins in all for case reading and writing (statement, soln and reason). 1 min to everyone for extemr round and then 15 min discussion.

considering the fact tht ur already an ICICI veteran having worked in the AM grade, it was obvious tht they will grill u the most...bt hopefully this time u'll sail thru & join bck in M-II grade

For me they say why we go for a technical guy who is not very confident in financial technique. Some questions do not make any sense. In the last they asked me why this program...and if i got selected some where else then which course do i prefer...icici or executive mba..most of the questions are hypothetical. lets see what happens but mine was average....all the best for those who have intrvw on 3&4 feb 😃

Had my GD today at Chennai, didn't get selected but will share the experience.
First went to office, we must show our id proof to the security and he ll send us to the registration room after checking our. In the Registration Room there were two people verifying our documents, first that gave us a declaration form and then asked us to the arrange the certificates in this order.

If we didn't have the gazetted officer sign they are asking us the original certificates but I think attestation is important.
After the registration process they split us into batch of 8 and send us to the GD room. In my center totally there were 30-35 Candidates.
My concern was during the application started they said no ICICI employees are allowed but in my center they were around 15 ICICI employees. I was suprised to see that though!!!!
In the GD Room, we were asked to sit according to the order they called us. We had a sheet of paper were we need to write the Case Study topic, it also contained a carbon sheet so that our essay is copied to another paper.
There were 4 panel members viewing us all looked very senior most persons.
The case Study topic goes like this.
Vivek is ab employee of Mighty Bank in Corporate Banking sector, ABC Ship Breaking Company is a client of this bank but this company is in total debt and in losses. The mighty bank has approached few companies for acquiring this ABC company and turning it over in debt and management level changes. There were 3 companies bidding for this 1000 cr credit.
1. BBC Ship Breaking Company - Indian, well established and has extensive experience in shipping sector. Already have done this for 2 companies. The bid is 100% recovery payable in 7 yrs at 8 %pa
2. Credit... Company - Large Public Sector but no experience in such cases.
The bid is 90% recovery payable in 8 yrs at 9 %pa
3. Sonyo Shipping - Oldest shipping firm in Japan - trying to acquire companies in India or China as these are low cost models. The bid is 85% recovery payable in 5 yrs at 13 %pa
Vivek has to go through these bids and recommend a particular company.
BBC has already 5 yrs of relationship with the bank. Nahar the president of the bank is suggesting to Vivek that Credit company wants to establish relationship if their bid is cleared.
From Vivek's position u need to recommend a choice.
First write ur views in the sheet of paper, then GD took place and finally all were asked to spk up for a minute.
I took me long time understanding the topic. In 8 of us only 2 were selected for PI.
The other case study was ABC bank loan for Cement or Pearl company.
All the Best Guys who are attending tomorrow.

i did well in the GD but screwed up the interview guys... i don't have any hope to get selected for this program..
