...my name was called at 4th (none of the 3 had arrived till then)...went for document verification..completed n waited till 2 pm (morning batch interview was still going on).
around 2.10 a person came and took us to 3rd floor and made me sit in the sofa with 3 other.

M2: The person sitting straight with a stern look
M3: Looks of a very senior and serious college professor
M4: This person was studying me from the very beginning with a sharp look

I'll Start with the blunder I committed today - I was DAMN ******* nervous...So much that I thought I would fall down any moment! This ruined everything. I could not answer questions like "what is NDTL?" (I said Fixed deopsit & recurring deposit!!!SWEAR on everything I have known the answer since I started preparing for banks)
M1: Tell me about yourself?..answered (no one was paying any attention but M4 who was scanning me like he would jump any moment and bite me!)
M1: How can you work in bank? Answered...(again they did not even listen what I said, but M4 was studying me)
M1: What is the structure of the investment banking program? (Had no freaking idea what on earth that is...was already nervous and the question forced that nervousness on to my face.I stammered+gave blank looks (as if they will sympathize - no one moved or blinked an eye all this time!)+ finally said "sorry Sir, I dont have any idea".
M1: ok...tell me the functions of RBI.(Answered) - by this time I was so nervous that I forgot all that I had learnt, I looked only at the person who was questioning and forgot the others.
M1: How RBI controls banks (answered)
M2: What is Decimeter? (Didnt know- again stupid dumb expression unless I realized they are not going to boost my confidence and so said "Sorry".
M2:What is Banking Ombudsman (Answered some how...Had started stammering by now coz of my nervousness)
M2: What is NDTL?

M2: Who is Aung Su Kyi? ( again knew the answer, but went all blank...somehow I managed to say "opposition leader in Burma" , but by then he had completely lost interest in me and was just shaking his head from left to right and ticking something in a paper.
M3: Tell me about loans (answered) - The problem was that I expected a +ve sign from them when I answered but none gave it.
M4:Tell me about NABARD (answered)...what is the function? (He was a very soft spoken, so had to ask twice to get the second question)
M4: What is score (again could not understnad and said "sorry" and leaned towards him)
M4: What is you IBPS WRITTEN SCORE?(answered)
M2:OK Thank you.
I was so nervous that I just replied to M2 "Thank you Sir", didnt look at the oders and came out!
So that was my experience....Only advice I would give (I know its easy to say, difficult to do) --> Please get a grip on your nerves.Else you'll end up screwing like me....and dont expect the panel to be smiley, in case they are - good for you, in case they are not -- you'll be prepared for it. (The girl of morning batch who was interviewed by them had said "They are very friendly...So dont worry 😞 ...guess I resembled some enemy of theirs!)

i gave an undertaking for 2 documents ,obc certificate and provisional degree certificate and they asked me to submit the photocopies of the documents at ibps mumbai within 7 days but it will take more than 7 days to get correct documents ,so i called ibps and asked what to do ,,they told me not to send any form of documents(photocopy)to ibps at all ...now i am highly confused and worried

A question for all those who have given their interview :
After document verification will they allow us to take the certificates with us or will I go empty handed. I mean to say my extra curricular certificates and all, can I carry then with me while entering the interview room after the document verification?
interview is just a conversation in which one person elicits information from another person even if one fails to give the right information that is not the end of the world,especially in bank interview even if any question for which we don't know the answer we should politely say "sorry sir I don't know the answer" there is no problem in saying so,we should be cool,calm,polite and always try to keep a smiling face,since the interview will monitor our facial expression.In peak hours of bank staffs are bundled with lots of problems within the office and officers will have to deal the all the customers who come to us to solve their problem and not only that we are dealing with money so we have to be extra cautious,hence if we fail to answer a particular question we need not worry if we are cool and keep a smiling face.My interview was on 5-1-2014 on entering the interview hall the panel members were laughing since I am the owner of an unfamiliar name "Shingue Nirmalan Velayudhan" we started our discussion on my name and then went to politics which I am poor in but I managed to keep my coolness with beautiful smiling face and I managed to give answer to some political questions and then they asked me several questions on banking for which I answered very well and in the end they asked me how i prepared for my written exam,so everyone be cool as a fiddle since the panel observes keenly whether we are apt for the bank job and even if we are in tension try best not to show in our face
So after reading so many exps ..here i share my exp..
Reach venue at 7.40.doc verification over at 11.45.at 12.30 kaka comes and take us to 9th floor..we were 7 guys...when we went there 3 of previous batch were already sitting there..i was the last guy of the whole morning batch.
At 2 pm that magic moment came...
Heart was pounding at 172 bps lols...enter the room:Act-I,Scene-I
Enter the room and see 3 old men and a young guy(round 40yrs)..wish them good afternoon sir...kept a smile on my face (which got broader and broader as the interview progressed).

My advice:Keep calm...answer as soon as they finish the ques...this helps believe me.

Yaar according to my prediction ...
max general=40.4% as who have 24.4 has to score 16 in intrvw to get selected which is difficult.
max obc=38% as who have 24 has to score 14 in intrvw in obc is difficult .
