haan toh i told i did BHMS ... bachelor in homeopathic medicine & surgery... completed in 2012... and finished my compulsory internship on 17th june 2013... currentlt work in a charity clinic.. my father is in bank...

I thought they were only checking on my confidence and a little bit of knowledge. For me it was a ”not bad” kind of an interview.

banking is the sunrise sector of Indian economy. it is one of the fastest growing sector as banks are expanding their reach across the geography. Also role of a probationary officer is multidimensional. it offers unparalleled opportunity of learning and growth. many of the chairmen of psu banks had joined banks as PO only. moreover banker is a very respected profession in India. one get huge respect and social status as a banker.
Hey guys, just wanted to know that till what date are the interviews scheduled, anyone who comes across this post, plz comment the interview date of yours or any friend of yours, so that we can come to know about the maximum dates the interviews are scheduled.... 😃
And it will be good if someone has any idea of the result declaration... 👍
Expected cut off for final selection ( Out of 100 )....
My interview was like a game of chess. I knew I could have earned a easy draw. But I thought was that sufficient to prove my credentials, may be no. So took a spontaneous decision to sacrifice my queen. And I was at the losing end that very moment. So, I took every move precociously and earned a hard draw. Hoping for the best.

Suggestions to my friends: stay calm, stay focused and be yourself..!
Went for interview today (Seriously Yaar, no dreams this time). Reached the venue (BOI, Noida) at 8.20am. Could see a lot of young aspirants like me gathered at the gate. At 8.30am they opened the entrance. After signing the attendance waited for around 90 minutes in the auditorium. Then after verification went to first floor. Waited there for around an hour. And in between few of the candidates were scaring is by saying that panel 2 is the most strict and are just asking what you don't know. I was feeling a bit nervous so I stood up and was standing there until I was called upon.
Drank 2 gulps of water, entered the room. Wishing them Good morning Sir but to my surprise everyone was looking here and there don't know whether they even heard me or not? “Ras Ranjan Jha, what do you do”? I told him that I have been preparing for bank jobs. “But you passed out in 2011” asked the Chairman. I said, “Sir I joined M.Sc which I later dropped and onwards then I have been preparing for banking jobs and in between I did 2 months orientation training program in Neopost India pvt ltd” as I wanted to be honest about it. He asked me what have you prepared and I told him that basic stuffs Sir. He asked me to tell the basics and I said Sir you may ask. (I think here I should have told them what I knew and now the chairman had the attitude like thik h beta me hi puchta hi ab btao tum). “what is SWIFT”? I have already forgot but tried it to explain but I fumbled and could not convince him. He asked about FCNR, was a bit nervous now but started explaining it and before he could ask I mentioned NRE and NRO account and explained it and the Chairman asked few question which I replied and he was convinced now and I was again full with confidence. Next panel member asked about IRDA, DRT,few basic terminologies. Which ever I knew I answered and said sorry for which I did not know. Sardarji asked about probality and currencies of few countries. And he later said okay you may leave. When I said thank you, the Chairman was sleeping and everyone seems too tired. So after thanking them I left the room.
I don't think I should expect much now. Anyways lets see what happens by the way it was a good learning experience tough.

M1- What is subsidy and what are its benefits?
I answered
M1- What is food security bill?
Answered
M1- Do you know about any another bill which has been approved recently?
I told about Jan Lokpal bill and explained it
M1- What do you know about banking industry
I said not much, but just what a non-banker could know (then he handed me to M2)
M2- Who is Isaac Newton and what is third law of motion
I answered
M2- How is gravity different on moon as on earth?
Answered
M2- How two objects travel at same speed on moon?
As there is no atmosphere that's why
M3- In how many ways can you withdraw cash from bank
I answered
M3- What is a Cheque? Who is drawee, drawer and banker?
Answered
M1- What are you doing nowadays?
I told him about some data entry work for firms
M1- Asked how much am I earn from it and how many systems I have?
M4- Asked about my score in the exam
And that's all it's over
They thanked me and so as I
Over all satisfying performance. So, don't have a phobia of interview just be calm and composed, never be in hesitation. As I experienced they asked questions from my answers, so be confident with your answers.

Hope the PO results are announced before the Clerk interviews. A lot of good decisions can be made then.
