Date: 5/1/14 Venue: BOB regional office, Varanasi. Panel- ||

Time :1pm Document verificatin started at around 1 and i was the first candiadate so was called for interview by 1.30pm

Entered the room by asking permission. 4 Members in panel. all male.

wished them n they asked me to sit.

m1: directly on my education backgrnd.. Bcom completed in 2013 so u wud be remembering much abt your subjects..so do u knw about NI act

I:No sir. all 4 panel got shocked..then i said u mean to say negotiable instrument act.He said yes

then replied yes sir a little bit

m1: asked about some sectn of act

I: sorry i dnt knw.

M1: its ok..suppose u r advance manager n u have been for a loan of 5 lakh for undertaking new project..what all documnts u will ask frm that party approachng u fr the loan

I answered and he actually helped me a by giving a little hint in answering the question.

M1: okay.whats the effect of NPA on finacial position of bank

I answered

M2;What is NABARD

Answered easily
M2: what is national income I: answered correctly

M3: debt equity ratio n shareholder's fund,current ratio n its ideal ratio, golden rules of accounting,
I: answered all three.
M4:Bailor n bailee .I: sorry sir i dnt remember about it .
M4:Why netogiable intrumnt is calld negotiable I: answered
M4: defenition of Bills of Exchange or Cheque Or Promissony note as per NI act
I: sir i don't knw the definition
M4: how much marks u got in exam. I: 69
M4: maximum in which sectn. I: qauntitative aptitude
M4: what all ques were there in banking sectn.
I: told about 2-3 ques n siad rest i dnt remembe
rM1: since u have good knowledge abt banking so let me ask one more ques.
I dnt remember what was that ques bt yes i aswered it.

My Interview Experience....Andhra Bank Gachibowli Panel 7 1:30 PM

Document verification completed by 2:00pm

My turn came in at 4.10 and it was just for 5 mins.

Entered the room by wishing them. There were 4 members in the panel(All males).

M2: asked me to take the seat, and asked me tell about myself and my family background.

While telling, M3 asked about my younger brother education details.

M2 asked about my employement details which I forgot to mention while telling about myself.I have said sorry and told about the employee details.

He asked me about RBI governor and Dy Governors,

answered only 3 dy governer names.

M1 asked about the banks which have head office in Hyderabad.

Answered the question.

M3 asked about my score.

They noted down my score.

M1 asked about core banking and alternate channels,

answered about core banking,didnt answer alternate channels.

M1 asked about my company, package.

Answered the question

They asked me to leave after that.

M4 remained silent throughout the interview and checked on my documents submitted before the interview.

I was the only guy who had such short interview with the panel. Rest of the guys had more than 10-15 mins of interview.

No. of interviewers - 4

At the very outset, you'll be made to wait in a common compound in their training college and offered tea and a form to fill up. Documents' verification will begin only after 09:00, Doc verification is very minute, they cross every subject's marks b/w original n photocopies.

OK, then you're directed to 3rd floor for interviews. The photocopies of documents submitted by you are sent to the respective panel. Every interview is of approx 10 minutes duration.

All panel members were >50yrs fellows (P1, P2, P3, P4)
P1(writing down my details on a plain sheet of paper) : So Anuj, you are from Delhi?
Me : Yes Sir
P1 : You work for ABC company?
Me : Yes Sir
P1 : How long have you been in ABC?
Me : X years and Y month precisely.
P1 : OK, same Question we've been asking other.... Why Banking after IT?
Me : Banking as a sector and PO job role gives me a higher job role with managerial profile. It is a very robust and fast growing sector, offers me Good Promotion opportunities and Secured Job.
P1 : Ok, Anuj, tell me something about your family.
Ans : Replied properly
P1 : Tell me something about "ABC" and the kind of work you do.
Ans : Replied to the best of my ability
P1(Got Extremely Happy) : Very Good. Of all the candidates we've interviewed so far, you seem to have described your job profile best. Your experience in xyz tech will be a positive for us.
Me(Smiled a little) : Thanks Sir
P1 : Suppose you're made the manager of a rural branch, what will be your priorities?
Ans : Answered properly.
P2 : What is Base Rate and what is its use?
Ans : Answered properly
P2 : What is RBI's monetary policy?
Ans : Answered properly.
P3 : What is "Crime Money", what can be done to stop it?
Ans : Answered Properly

This is how my interview went through. Though it seems to me that i've performed well, but still anxious about result. I need atleast 75/100 in the interview as i have marginally crossed the cut-off (61).

me : took two greeted them and walked out .
it took 7 minutes only.
waise persons were friendly .
i think i missed the chance ..they will not even pass me.sh**
