after entering inside d room they told me to sit down.......my interview was completly in hindi, sincethey asked me everything in hindii replied thm in hindi only
M2: asked abt marks in grad, post grad and ibps score
me: told him
M2: which place do u belong to???
me: told
M2: who is speaker of lok sabha???
me: told(meera kumar)
M2: what r ur hobbies????
me: told, i told them that i alo like readind novel, so he asked which is the latest that u have read???
i told him that i m reading one which is abt afraud done by a banker..............from this he asked
M2: what r the steps taken by govt to stop frauds regarding checques???
me :told
M2: he asked abt kyc, aadhar and voter id card
me: told
M3: he asked abt my previous job n wat were my profile there.......
M4 was noting down watever i was explaining
M1 was silent throughout..........
after that they told me- you are done , you may go......
according to me the panel was friendly, everything went quite nicely i answered everything.........those who r having their interviews in the coming days ALL D BEST!!!!!!👍👍

Document verification started at around 2.30 p.m. had to give an undertaking as I was not having my B.Tech degree certificate.
Interview Began at around 3:50 p.m.
There were 4 members in the panel.
Questions that were asked:
1. Which place are you from?
2. What are you doing in bangalore?
3. Tell us about your family
4. Why do you want to join bank?
5. Tell us about the kind of work that you are doing?
6. Then asked me I`ll have to give up coding and all. M I fine with that? and why?
7. Difference between cheque and draft?
8. Types of accounts in bank?
9. What is nomination?
10. Asked about my current package and score?
11. Last question was if you are selected will you join for sure? I said definitely.
It ended on the note all the best and thank you.
A satisfactory interview. I don`t know about the end result but it was a good experience.

M2: Okay, tell me what is NPA?
Me: Sir, NPA stands for non performing asset. It is a credit facility in respect of which the interest and/or installment of principal has remained past due for a specific period of time. In other words, it is a classification made by financial institutions for loans that are highly likely to default.
*Momentary silence*
M2: And how do we classify NPAs?
Me: Substandard, Doubtful, Loss
M2: What is a substandard NPA?
Me: If it has been an NPA for a period not exceeding 12 months.
M3: But when do we first classify a loan as an NPA?
Me: If the borrower has failed to make interest or principal payments for 90 days, the loan is referred to as an NPA.
M3: How can we recover NPAs?
Me: Sir, we can make claims of indemnity from organisations like ECGC, DICGC, CGFT and insurance companies. Then we do have the SARFAESI Act. The Govt of India and RBI are also promoting one time settlement schemes. These cases should be handled professionally. In worst case scenario, we can file a suit, which can be expedited in the Debt Recovery Tribunal.

Me: Sir, i read financial newspapers with a handbook of economics. And i use the internet(google) extensively.

M2: What is the population of Odisha?
Me: I don't know, sir.
M2: What is the area of Odisha?
Me: I don't know, sir. I am not clear on the demographics of the state.
M1: Since you have a background of forestry, tell me what is social forestry?
Me: Sir, when plantation is carried out in barren areas, or areas otherwise unutilised, it is called social forestry. It has no commercial purpose.
M1: Give an example.
Me: Sir, when we have plantation programmes alongside main roads, or as avenues, or in parks, these are example of social forestry.
M2: And are there bank loans available for AgroForestry?
Me: Yes, sir.
M1: Tell me what is AgroForestry. If you do not know what it is, then do not bluff (Made me wonder whether they are of the idea that i have been bluffing all along

Me: Sir, when forest crops are planted in combination with other land use systems, like agriculture, animal husbandry, pasture farming, floriculture, horticulture, etc, then the system is known as AgroForestry.

Me: Sir, we were in divisional attachment in Phulbani district for 3 months. There, farmers have planted trees in combination with field crops.

Hello , i feel i am putting a really out of place of a question but even after searching for the last one hour i m not able to find any relevant ibps thread for my query...
I am a newbie at ibps...
All I am looking for is if there is any site which provides an article on A to Z information on IBPS? Like what is syllabus, dates, eligibitly ,where to start preparing etc..

first they made us sit on chairs for which proper arrangement was there,therre were several rooms for this purpose.
then document verification started in a separate room, as verification was getting over fr some cadidates others were slowly alowed in,in gnrl the verification guyz were nice and friendly,1 of the person was made to go and get an affadavit as his mother's name was differnet in form submitted and his marksheet,1 guy who was clerk in BoI who had his NOC had to gv an undertaking that he still works in the bank and that exp certificate will be submitted by him later on.
slowly people were called for PI.
both panels were "devtaa ka roop" as panel 1 candidates also said the same thing.
there were 3 panel memebers;all male + 1 more guy seemed to be their assisstant.
