the voices in my head are saying nearly 30% of general passed candidates lie in 61-70 range.. so fight will be among 71-85 scorers.. as 85-100+ will get the jobs with a decent interview. total cutoff will be less than 44.4 becuase the general cutoff is 61. 80:20 ratio mein 61/200 x 80 =24.4. even if he gets 20/20 in interview then total score will be 44.4 . but almost no one scores 100/100 in interviews..so cutoff would be b/w 41-43/100 for general category
what is cutoff for general in ibps po pls tell

Guys, whoever has cleared this year PO3 with whatever score lemme tell them every1 has fair chances.. As I am already selected in bank thru last year's IBPS so I know it very well that last year people on cutoff marks of 135 in general category got selected in first list as they scored aboove 90s in interview where as people having scores around 160 in written had to wait for second list and are still waiting as secured less marks less than 50s in intrvw.. so enjoy.. My score 83.. As i took this exam without any prep as already selected in LIC AAO, UIIC AO, PO 2..
Any suggestions on how to start preparing for interviews..???

The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of CWE (exam) and interview will be 80:20. The combined final scores of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in CWE PO/MT-III and Interview.

last year 55.8 was the minimum cutoff for general category candidate post interview. lets assume his/her marks 135/250.. so equating with 80 gives 43.2 . so 55.8-43.2=12.6. the candidate must have got 12.6/20 in interview which means 63/100 in interviews..
now ibps po 3 minumum score by a general candidate 61. equating with 80 gives 24.4... 100/100 in interview fetches him 44.4/100 as total marks. which is not possible.. so cutoffs lie b/w 40-43/100 this time
