Just received my appointment letter of SBI clerk phase 2..have to report on 25 feb.Ghor sankat---> with a score of 62.86 in IBPS PO, I should join SBI Clerk or wait for IBPS PO results, or I should join SBI clerk and leave if a get a chance with IBPS PO?
You will surely get Tier3 banks......Join SBI & wait for which bank & location you get for PO & then take the final decision.

@raghu00OD is account in which bank officials have zero balance and can withdraw upto minus 4 lacs (in ALB). Based on how much you take from it, you will pay interest and finally before retiring, it should have zero balance.Just imagine that you have 4 lacs in your account which can be used as loan for any emergencies but there is no need to get any approval from anyone. When your financial requirement is over, deposit back the money into OD account because interest will be charged.
Since this OD A/c is for Employees so interest rate would be lower than the normal, right?
I suppose you will get information regarding Joining through IBPS site & mail. If needed you can always collect the joining letter from your previous office (afterall you must have made friends in your office who can collect the letter if needed on behalf of you)

Since this OD A/c is for Employees so interest rate would be lower than the normal, right? OD is a different concept altogether and is a privilege for officials. I just tried to simplify. You will also have a loan account of about 25 lacs after probation & yes the interest rate will be less than normal.
ya dude.... thanks..... but u don't worry.. God is there.. ho jayega.. wait till 20th and see.. may be the ever-mysterious IBPS might post somethng before 20th.. but the moment u see the notice.. just resign... warna march tak neend nahi aayegi..
Even I am planning to resign on 21st this month. My marks are 68.8 . The main problem with me is that in my current company notice period is 90 days. The bank will give joining before 3 months for sure. Then I will have a big problem , kahi dono job na chali jaye.
@PiratedLimbo hmm u r right .... if till 20 ibps releases some notification regarding rank (less chances)...thn things will b very much clear....
i thought of resigning 2 days back but due to my dismal score of 60.12 i stopped myself from taking such a bold decision...
as the rank list we all have seen is not official even a 1000 candidate increase in the list willl destroy all the chances of mine getting a bank in first list ....thats why i am waiting...
even if i had a score of 61 then would have myself resigned ...but nt now

Dono Job nahi jayegi........ If needed, company can always deduct the salary equivalent to notice period & relieve you.
