I have come to know something i don't know how much true/ fact is that"If someone has enjoyed fee expemtion while filling the form in banks then he/she can not be counted in UR"
NAHI bhai yeh nahi hai

what about the chance for 67.92 overall and 161 written kya chance hai

@muthamizh
it means they have to give both written xam and interview again... in d last PO exam only written xam was enough.. and they can appear in any interview... but now due to common interview one bank will be allotted ..and they have to accept it....otherwise have to go through full process. again.....

Oh God u guys^It will happen this way...At first 50% of all bank posts will be filled with URs(gen and res both having high ranks)and the rest 50% by the the left over reserved cat candidates!Understood?
no it will not happen in this case. just tell me if a obc topper fills pnb as his 1st preference and has 300 overall rank. and pnb has 170 UR seats then he will not get PNB. but if he is considered as a obc topper candidate then he will surely get PNB as his 1st prefered bank. simple

So going by your logic, general candidates have 50% reservation in this case?That aint happening till a constitutional amendment is done my friend
my dear constitution says that reservation shud not exceed 50% in any case. so rest 50% means general. only after all 3 categories aggregating 50% res gets filled and still their is vacancy in UR seats based on the merit of remaining reserved candidates then allotment is given in UR to such reserved category candidates.

also the merit cum preference logic will work in such case only, as i have posted earlier
Heard something about IDBI medicals from a PUY (wont take the name)....

@amanmmishra here reserved candidates are not being asked to choose between their category seat and UR seat...Ibps is doing the full and final allotment simply on the basis of preferences opted by them...at least thats what we know till nowLets see what directions ibps comes up with during the preference locking stage
choice will be asked for preferences among participating banks. the final allotment will be given after the preparation of category wise merit lists. SC, ST and OBC merit will be prepared first and then UR merit will be prepared comprising of general and other cat candidates based on merit ranking.

only those reserved category candidates will get seat in UR category who did not get placed in their own category but rank high in merit over the UR cutoff (since UR seats are always higher than other seats).

but chance of other candidates getting place in UR category is very very less bcoz OBC, SC and ST seats are sufficiently high and their cuttoff will be lower than UR, thus keeping UR vacancies left for most of the general candidates.

also preparing obc,sc and st merit list before the UR list will help the toppers of respective category get their 1st preferred banks, thus engaging their own category seats in their allocated cum preferred banks.

i hope u have understood. nevertheless wait and see
