without knowing the exact rank { authenticated by IBPS } only a fool { from reserve category } can lock his/her seat in general category..............

@ravi2011i found this on a wav page so thinh that i have to share
I appreciate your concern and have no doubt in your sincerity of helping others ...Its just I found a discrepancy and had an urge to point it out.
@bunswap means if 11058 UR seats are filled wit top 11058 candidates irrespective of category, then UR cutoff will be 62.32

and if SC, ST and OBC lists are prepared befor UR list to allow candidates of these reserved categories and their toppers to get their prefered bank, then UR cuttoff is 60.32

well i think the second option will be exercised bcoz the topper of OBC may not get his 1st prefered bank if he is taken as a unresereved/own merit candidate (for eg, obC rank of topper- 1 and his unreserved rank- 300). obc topper will get his 1st prefered only when he will allowed to take bank in his own category

guys i made a mistakemy engineering % age is 66.5135 but i filled 67% in the form will this will create some sort of problem sorry i know this is quite silly query
I don't think so. during int. process they have performed process of document verification. if any issue was there, it would have been discussed at that time. after doc veri i dont think that they will create any problem
@amanmmishra yes.. i think the second thing is gonna happen.. first reserved.. then unreserved..

thank you sir increased by chance at 60.40 ,but the problem is not all will be alloted from open but many would so still tense

@bunswap even i could not understood that clearly...1st line mentions the cutoff as 60.32 by just seeing general candidates marks that is for 11000 ppl...2nd line mentions that merit basis allocation would be high because of other candidates...!but i am not of the view that this thing would happen as lots of ppl would not opt for ibps banks... so thr would be less chances of 2nd case...2nd case is bound to hppn when evry candidate of obc sc st in top rank get seats under UR categoryso dont worry about this scenario
1st option- means if 11058 UR seats are filled wit top 11058 candidates irrespective of category, then UR cutoff will be 62.32 (merit based allocation)

2nd option- and if SC, ST and OBC lists are prepared before the preparation of UR list to allow candidates of these reserved categories and their toppers to get their preferred bank (which is possible in this case only), then UR cuttoff is 60.32 (category to category based)

well i think the second option will be exercised bcoz the topper of OBC may not get his 1st prefered bank if he is taken as a unresereved/own merit candidate (for eg, obC rank of topper- 1 and his unreserved rank- 300). obc topper will get his 1st prefered only when he will allowed to take bank in his own category

further, if all the SC ST and OBC seats gets filled completely and some seats are remaining in UR category. then reserved candidates will be allowed to take seats as UR candidates if they fall under the closing cutoff of UR

@megha2012 good work

yes bcoz this is not the recruitment process of a single bank. it is based on merit cum preference. so if a OBC candidate is topper in obc merit and suppose ranks 300 in overall merit. then possibility of getting him his 1st preferred bank is more in being considered as applicant from OBC list.

hence if merit cum preference system is to be followed then SC, ST and OBC list will be prepared first and after filling of these categories the UR seats will be filled by GENERAL and remaining Resereved candidates who come under UR cutoff.

yar muje nhi lagta ki they ll ask any relievin letter or smthing at the time of joining...coz they havn't ask for NOC ...from those guys who are in private sector....and one thing the checklist ..have you noticed that whether they hav checked this column..??

I have come to know something i don't know how much true/ fact is that

"If someone has enjoyed fee expemtion while filling the form in banks then he/she can not be counted in UR"

i mean to say that the at the time of interview
@JaySmith
u r right ... ghar n ghat vaali situation ho jayegi...
if selected will consider a n option to buyout the notice period if joining is early...
but as of now will use wait n watch policy .... that's the best option right now available to me
