I have a query regarding a doc verification. Actually in my ibps application form mistakenly in both father's name and mother's name field I have filled my father's name. During the interview I carried an affidavit and it served the purpose. Will the affidavit be sufficient during the final doc verification? Will this pose any problem?
Saw many posts like bank po is very very very bad and ssc cgle is way more tough than a bank po exam..i agree that cgl jobs are much better than a bank job coz of the work pressure n all but :::::
bank po exams are much more difficult than ssc cgl....i have got 57.4 in ibps po 5( got pnb) and 450+ marks in cgl 2015(tier1+tier2) ...what i have noticed while I went for the interviews of both is that I found much decent candidates appearing for the bank interviews.....anyone good at cramming can easily pass the ssc exams..they give the same type of questions in every exam, even repeat some of the questions.,,ssc cgl english: memorize idioms and phrases,one word substitutions...damn easy passages...damn easy jumbled passages...memorize grammar rules...whereas bank po exam actually tests your english....coming to maths in cgl : damn easy questions..memorize the shortcuts..do the questions again and again and u are through..same type of questions everytime..no surprises u know...then reasoning: compare bank reasoning and reasoning of cgl exam..no comparison at all...cgl reasoning way easier than banks..then gk part..no one prepares it much for cgl as u dont have sectional cutoffs but u have to prepare it for bank po...bank po exam definitely has a standard i guess...ssc cgl exam can be easily passed by anyone good at memorizing things..i find much more talented people in banks...but cgl jobs are still preffered because of the work pressure in banks..but if one is hardworking he would definitely be at a better position by switching to private banks after gaining 5-6 year experience(one of my own relatives is earning in lakhs/month...he had joined as a po in idbi bank 7-8 years before..now in icici bank)...u dont have this option through ssc cgl...
so guys be proud that you have cleared bank po exam and best of luck for your future :)

Believe me, IBPS po exam is way tougher than cgl. Cgl has an easy easy paper, never checks your standard rather your practice levels matter. Compare po 5n ssc reasonings,

Although it is hard to crack CGL compared to PO, as the Competition is more (Selected PO Candidates also gives CGL) but the Quality of Paper of IBPS PO is unmatched - The Talented one can crack it in First Attempt but in CGL you need more & more practice ( Rattant Vidya jyada chaiye).
