In Indian bank , You would be getting around 24K in hand + 1k for conveyance monthly + rs 175 for newspaper monthly + rs 450 for canteen subsidy monthly ...So taking all the allowances, your in hand salary would be around 25,625 monthly. Now, for those of You who would be sitting at cash counters, (Which most of you, likely will :P ) would be getting rs 2200 more as Cashier allowance, so your in hand, take home , salary would become around Rs 27,825. Remember these figures are for those Indian bank employees who are working in metro cities aur tier 1 cities. For all the other tier 2 and various other cities,rural employees their would be difference of at least 500 rs. As people serving in metro and tier 1 cities get 500 rs more as city compensatory allowances.
