After so many days I visited this page and answered one of the questions regarding English preparation. Now I felt that I should share with all.. You may straight away ignore as it's a long answer Like I always say.. Imagine in an examination where you are given a section of your mother tongue instead of English, would it be easier ? Yes (for almost everyone of us) Why so? Because of confidence. And from where it came? As per my understanding we have left "studying" Mother-tongue after 10th.. Still we are confident.. I think the confidence came from the way we have learnt that language and not how much we have studied? Now the question is how we have learnt our mother tongue? Obvious answer is "By Listening" I still remember my college senior advising me to watch Friends series for improving English. Of course it helped me but not upto great extent but it helped. I would suggest to listen to good documentary or DD News Or any good show. Now coming back to learning our mother tongue... After listening, our second step was reading and writing simultaneously. Now most important part, Grammar.. By the time we were in seventh standard, we used to understand/speak/write in our mother tongue but grammar was then introduced in seventh. Most importantly as far as IBPS pattern is concerned, they check you on three parameters 1) Reading Comprehension 2) Vocabulary 3) Grammar And again there are some topics which fall under English but are more like puzzles in LR Example- Parajumbles/Fillers/Close (With little vocab and more logic) And all the three can be improved by listening, reading and writing simultaneously. Last but not least.. English is subjective so one can't always score out of marks But again, as it is subjective you can solve all the questions (unlike quant because it needs understanding question/formula/calculations- three steps approach). Maybe after reading this you can start reading and listening but as I said all the three steps should be taken simultaneously. In my answer you may still find grammatical errors, but I have enough of English knowledge to clear English section of IBPS :) All the best👍💯

If u want to score 35+ score in Clerk mains study current affairs from aug 1 to jan 15th at least. With special focus on banking& finance, National& state level News. If u still have doubts, check my profile ,shared lots of Ga questions there(for beginners) 35+ score in one section alone means u r miles ahead of others.
