FOR DELHITES :-Bank of India has around 105 branches in delhi. Last year Bank of india was the standout performer in Delhi, recruiting 107 candidates, whereas Canara Bank came at a distant second with 75 vacancies. All of this happened when BoI was under PCA. Now as we all know that on Jan 31 , Rbi had taken BoI out of PCA, the chances of BoI indenting a good amount of vacancies to ibps increases even more. The icing on the cake is that even BoI has confirmed in RTI that it is in the process of finalising its vacancies. So, we can expect a positive news from BoI. As far as BoB is concerned , it has around `138 branches in delhi, and chances are high that it will also increase a good amount of vacancy in its final list. Currently the total no. of vacancies in Delhi stands at 447, my guess is that it will easily cross 500, and might even hit 540-550.
