Hiii..
I think the answer is C..
Becoz B states " written in the same year of publication as" ...its not the publication year of both..but its the publication year of "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn"...
I hope I am clear...
Whereas C states rightly..

Let me know the OA if u have..

See in B..as fast as is redundant..it is already taken care by rate of increase

2. C..
It is the most precise one with all redundancy removed.

Here 'majority' refers to group itself not individuals,

Think A itself is the correct answer .
A maintains parallelism in expresiions modifying the Esaugetu Emissee (Master of Breath), starts the first expression with who ( who dwelt in the upper realm ) n also the second one with who(who had the power to give ) ..C is wrong because use of the simple present " who has " is incorrect . Also in C i think usage of whose is incorrect . Other options dont maintain parallelism .( to give and to take shud aslo b parallel ) .

yes ur both answers r correct

rahul..did you identify the subject of "produce" ? what is it do you think "produce" is referring to? "produce" is plural. so as per your reasoning it should refer to a plural subject? do we have any plural subjects here?

"...expenditure of large sums of money produce/s...."

the subject here is expenditure which is singular..hence produces..D
