OA --> 2) D, 3) E
Can you please throw some light on question 2....why have you chosen D over C...Isnt the parallelism failing in case of D.
In ques 3, we dont say much of the dioxins, it will be many of the dioxins, so we narrow down to D and E. Now according to me it should be D but OA says E.

my answers in bold
@dudeabhi011
My take: E
@mithun_vrs OA d
@ramitagrawal no D is the answer

@mithun_vrs please share the approach . I couldnt figure it even thinking twice

@dudeabhi011 Here is my take (very raw explanation though 😃 )
the sentence can be divided into two parts - first what happened (olpympic games helping to bring peace) and the second part should ideally be the reason for it... hence D suits (for a sacred truce was proclaimed.... )
Option A has a weird sentence structure according to me, Option C - 'when they declared' and option B do not provide the reason for the first half of the sentence in the correct fashion
Option E seems ok but option D sounds better.
@EducationAisle Yeah i got that much and that's why i chose D (second half of the sentence is a kind of reason for what has been described in the first half of the sentence)
OA:
9) E
10) E
11) C
12) B
13) C
