In fact Arun, there is a sweet rule followed by GMAT.
" A 'Which' in a sentence Always refers to what it follows "
This is one hard and fast rule and can be blindly trusted.
The only exception to this rule is when WHICH is followed by a preposition, as in
........to which...
or
.........in which.....
So there should be no confusion as to what WHICH is referring to in the Qn stem and hence for this reason no answer to this Qn can begin with WHICH, because what follows in rest of the sentence is the further description of the extinct animal and not its wingspan.
@parveenchaudry said:"Which"is just not a relative pronoun. It may also act as a determiner or an interrogative pronoun. Even as a relative pronoun, it may be subjective or objective in nature. If that was not enough-the relative clause introduced by "which"The tool to which you are referring is out of stock.
Does it means that it is no longer in use now or it is limited in scope or its a 'stock rule' ie can be used only in certain scenarios?
Could you also explain how one can make use of such vast knowledge of Grammar in solving SC Qns during Gmat Test.
Should one go about identifying what kind of 'Which' the sentence is featuring and then look for the specifics of that particular type and then negate the answer choice? It will be helpful for me and other people if you can share ur experience from the real Gmat tests.

OA answer is B. Experts kindly pitch some wisdom.
Hi Guys, would appreciate if you could please let me know the sources for SC questions. Manhattan and Aristotle contain the concepts but they dont really have questions.
I would like to see beyond OG and 1000SC, are there any other good sources available?
Hi puys,
Can you please give in your thoughts for my SC strategy as i think this should suit me.
Learn all the concepts from MGMAT SC and Artistotle SC Grail as in TOPIC WISE and then practice questions from OG so that i can be firmed up in my mind.
Most of the people read all the book and then practice but in that loosing the earlier concepts learned.
Puys pls help is required.
@245857anu , Hi there...I am not a veteran but I guess you are on a right track. If you could just do few questions in b/w here and there then it would help you in keeping all your concepts intact....once your are done with all the fundas then go for the kill.
This is the approach I am planning to follow......Experts plz share your 2 cents as well...
Idea is to do it topic wise and practice questions. But the problem is if I do it then my OG SC will get exhausted. So in the end what will be the source for practice.
Experts please pitch in some thoughts.
OA is B, but my question is how did you recognize wanted as a verb and wanting as a participle. how you can see so deep and think in 1 minute to answer.
Is it exhaustive practice or some good grammar base OR any special book to refer!!!
hope for a quick reply.
wil really help since GMAT is more than jus identifying patterns.. This is my approach.. Experts pl clarify whether my approach to this ques is right..Its B.
The team was tired after playing for 4 hours. It is simple past tense. And the team still wants to go home. This is present continous. Hence tired (simple past) and wanting (present continous).

A majority of the international journalists surveyed view nuclear power stations as unsafe at present but that they will, or could, be made sufficiently safe in the future.
(A) that they will, or could,
(B) that they would, or could,
(C) they will be or could
(D) think that they will be or could
(E) think the power stations would or could

OA-->D
In my opinion we have to replace the pronoun "they" with the actual noun "power stations", since pronoun creates ambiguity....so it should be E....
