I bought a Princeton review book now, but am wondering why not the Barrons?

The same reason why people don't read Arindam Chowdhary's books. Because they are bad!!
PR is atleast humorous. Barrons is out to make a quick buck by cheating the GRE crowd who think it publishes a similar "bible" for GMAT.

Yea - 1000 SC is a fantastic document if you are able to know "why" a question is right/wrong. Detailed explanations are lacking but answers floating around on various forums on the internet.

but work n studies dint go together so finally planned to take a much required break
from past few days i've started preparing
but today i came to knw that i was headed in a wrong direction
i was preparing from BARRONs
i knw i'm stupid but thz what i came to knw when i was searching PG
now i seriously need ur help ..i had given CAT last yr but it dint work out
plz guide me on the prep material
which one i should go for
1.kaplan premier edition 06/07
2.kaplan verbal & quants
3.OG10 or OG11
i knw i have very less time thaz why i'm hoping for full support frm u ppl
any help regarding material ...study techniques will be helpful

I have three questions for the test-prep gurus.
1. I had asked this question sometime back, but asking again since I found some contradictory information on the mba.com website.
Does GMATPrep and OG 11th edition have questions in common ?
The mba.com website says,
"There is no overlap between questions found in the Official Guide for GMAT Review, 11th Edition, the Official Guide for GMAT Quantitative Review, the Official Guide for GMAT Verbal Review, and GMAT Prep."
However, I thought I should ask just to be doubly sure. Don't want to finish OG and then start finding the same questions when I am taking GMATPrep tests.
2. What are the best full length practice tests I should take ? I have plans for GMATPrep, obviously. What else is the closest to the real thing ?
3. Any last minute (= a week) steroids for Sentence Correction ? Have gone through Manhattan's SC (which was really good).
Kaplan 800 - overall accuracy rate 75%
Official Guide for Verbal Review - overall accuracy rate around 88%.
Still making mistakes and after lots of analysis, the mistake seem to be following no pattern at all. Plan to do OG 11th Ed. What else ? I am desparate to reach an accuracy of 95%.

Harsh, u were correct that i was confused. I am not that bright student. Whatever i do, is with hard work and practice. Hence wanted more time on it.
Recently i am watchin a trend, where people in their GMAT test are getting scores equivalent of they used to get in Kaplan Prp. In october 4 of my friends had the same result. Can somebody throw a light on this.
