Following.
1. Even though the XAT Weightage is 50%, the real difference is not much.
2. AFAIK, the xat marks you score is converted out of 50. So ultimately, it's a difference of only few marks between the applicants with highest and lowest xat %ile.

1. The number of seats are not fixed for XAT or CMAT. But the obv point is that XAT seats will be much more than the CMAT seats. Reason : Much more applicants through XAT.

A gd of 4 people sounds odd and finally 1 converts??
And olso i hope calls thru cmat wil be higher as the number of applicants will be higher as compared to atma since CMAT is accepted for MMS as well nd had better colls thru it as compared to atma

1. ATMA was held in Dec 2011 for which applications were taken.
2. The shortlist for GD/PI came together with the XAT. So no question of GD for 4 people.
3. Even i have the gut feeling that the number of calls through CMAT should be much more than what it was through ATMA last year.

The mail said to send the CMAT details by 17th March. So we can expect the shortlist atleast a week from today. PS - i am also an applicant and this is just an assumption. And avinash has already said in previous posts that it will come out next week.

cmat id is the roll number or that email id, coz in the mail which people got for cmat, they were asked cmat roll number

The Roll Number only.
There is a separate option for mail id that you used.
So, enter your numeric CMAT Roll no in the space for cmat id.

1. There are 240 seats at GIM. So most likely, there are 240 people in selected list.
2. The list was not put up on the website last year. So we cannot comment on whether there are 240 only or some buffer calls were also there.
3. But then the list of waitlisted people was put up on the website. And there were some 300+ people in waitlist. So most probably, there are no buffer calls in the selected list.
