my gd invitation says this "Please bring a printout of this intimation to the venue along with the soft copy which will reach you by email"

i recieved an invitation on my mail too ,,same with date and venue,....i got its print out ,,but what exactly bring soft copy which will reach u by mail mean ?

Soft copy means print out.

So get the print out of the email and the result page on gim website.

Yes, you are supposed to take the originals of all the documents that has been menioned in the mail sent to you.

NO.

It is not mandatory for regular classes.

We have to wear formals though on some days which you will come to know once you come here.

hey thanks for a prompt reply!!! can u also put some light on the sports facilities provided at gim, specially about basketball and badminton, are there any tournaments held for the same???

We have all kinds of sports facilities here at GIM. We recently had tournaments for badminton, TT. Right now Basanti Cup is going on. We have a dedicated club PRAYAS for this.

There is def no harm in puting your papers.

In last few pages I came to know that placements of GIM for this year has not been good and also there is substantial decrement to 7.6 from 8.82 as last year....
Is this true?

i have a query regarding the students who have given examination of cmat...

when will the process of caliing the students who are relying on cmat for getting admission in gim will start?

is there a separate process for their admission?

1. The report is not yet out because the placement process is still on.

2. The interim data were told to the faculty and the same was shared by few of them as told by an aspirant.

3. So would request you to wait till the report is out.

1. No fixed dates have been released regarding cmat process.

2. But most likely, the cmat shortlist should come after a week of declaration of cmat results.

3. Yes, the process is separate but those who already got a call from xat won't be called again.

No, there is no fixed seats as such.

It will depend on the number of applicants via cmat, their quality, their performance in CMAT, etc..

Though I am not the one who should be answering this.

But my views on this :

1. 120 was a small batch size. Making it 240 will make it better in terms of diversity, etc.

2. If there is a demand, we can increase the supply. And with increasing population and increasing competition, there was a need to increase the batch size.

3. Most of the colleges have increased their intake over the last 3 years.
