Was at nehru place , buying the computer accessories ... thats how u all could have some respite from me yesterday

as far as i know just add abt 4-5 % to all of that and u have it in goa...Dlink Switch for 1300 - is it 8 port or 5 port? 5 port one is cheaper here in college...

this place in delhi looks like it would have some good s/w also...get some games ppl... really cool ones - multiplayer and stuff...

If ur cousions are Frequent Fliers of Gulf Air, Austrian Air, Thai Airways, Malaysian Airlines, Air Lufthansa, or Jet Airways they can use the Airport lounge / partner hotels of 9W free of cost at IGI Airport if they have a connection. Else u have to shell out at the hotels outside.

Hi Friends,
Have anyone recieved the letter from the placement cell about depositing a draft of
Rs. 6500/- for the placement activities when we reach GIM. Also I want to know if it was there last year also and can we ask the bank for paying it.
I also called up GIM yesterday and they informed me that most likely the last date for paying for the laptop will be extended as the college is yet to strike a deal till now.
Finally I need some help regarding what to do about my travel plans as I have got tickets for 13th of june in the Bangalore - Vasco Exp. But now that the Left has called for a nationwide strike should I change my plan? How will this strike affect road and rail transport? Please do give ur suggestions.

This amount has been paid by every batch and goes towards conducting Placement Process. I guess its too small an amount to involve the bank in and afterall Placement Cell is a student driven community. So, why bother them for various papers required for the Bank Sanctions. Isn't it?

Kindly let us know , how much minimum dough , should we be carrying with us for the admission formalities ...or in other words , how much would we be left poor after landing there at gim

Nice write up. Full of respect. I doubt its the same shailesh who once clarified the state of Perizaad to me. Moving ahead, Admissions won take anything else but for the various clubs get in a sum of arn 5k with urselves. Try sending this mail to gim 2k8 grp. I guess all communities will tell ya abt their membership fees..

Yes, I did it and sat it up with a nice weekend off to Ahemdabad. Am off to Bom today and then goa on Sat. Any pgite from GIM in Bom do get in tuch. Might be we reach Goa together.. Guess ppl have my number..

And I must say Aspire & Co. Looking fwd to having u on campus. Tapan will be there in a couple of days...

It's been long that I visited PG.Feel good to b back!!! Anyways ,U guys will hve a blast of time in this college ,trust me!!!Well saurabh n others..u guys r lucky..our Internship here will get over only bt 30th June.
Nevermind..3rd july gonna b fun,no doubt as I will finally land up there on 3rd.By the way keep ard 7-8k for the 1st month...as u guys will hve to give membership fees of few clubs,buy lots of things during initial days etc etc.

You bet ... I like the place so much that , I dont even miss being on pg these days ... Things are great .. got myself a great room at OT.. comes with an attached bath ..It was raining heavily .. abhi have a small meetuing regarding the lappy ... will post later ... lappy deal has got all of us divided ..
