Please bring your bikes. yes it is allowed. There is place to park. And you will require the bikes as soon as classes start so please dont wait for the term break to bring them. Bring the bike along with you when you come to campus. This is because you will be doing lots of projects in the industrial estates and will have to travel around goa for the same. Also everything you will need is in panjim which is about 4-5 kms from campus, you will need to commute. And there will be lot of late night outings for many things you will see when you come to campus about those. So a bike is a definite must, if you have one bring it along with you when you come to campus.

Hey guyz,

Lot of people have received their letters from GIM, it would be great if you guyz could mention the contents of letter as lot of us have not got it yet.It would be helpful as we need to arrange for the initial payment and dates till when we have to send it.
I generally have problem in receving letters as no body at home..:(, the letters are delivered by normal post or by some private postel courier?

My friend, unfortunately I dont happen to be in India. I would have found out the rates for you otherwise. But be assured that you can easily find a second hand bike there. I am sure the goans in your batch will help you out to find one.

As for those who are bringing your bikes. I read a post where someone had said get your NOC. Now understand something about the NOC. If you cancel your home registration and get a NOC, this would mean that your bike is now unregistered and the insurance will not be valid till such time that you re-register in GOA. Also an NOC is required only in the case that you are planning to register your bike in Goa. I am still using my TN registration and i have not had any problems so far. I dont think you need to re-register your bike as such. But its your call.

never seen such enthusiastic bunch of people. i never knew someone will compile the list. too much ho gaya bhaiiiiii. although me too have got through gim, but i would be leaving it for tapmi. god knows what went wrong at imi, else i would have been there. anyways i am happy that i could cponvert gim and tapmi. however, i must say that will miss goa, gim and such enthusiasts. but i must give precedence to career. good luck guys. have fun and never let the enthusiasm die.

hey dude......me from mangalore and its close too manipal
me have seen tapmi and it does not have the class that gim is said to have.........also tapmi is not very far ahead of gim in terms of placements....personall what matters is not just where the college puts u but also the management as in from friends u have learnt in the 2 years.............gim will make u feel nice at the end of 2 years and tapmi......well i dont know much.........but i am sure that its not as easy as u make it sound that u have ur career in mind first.......there is more to mba than placements..........at least for me.....tapmi can neva equl gim in one aspect that is "life"...........also tapmi shares the same locational disavantage like gim does............but remember gim is the only good management college in goa and thus govn gives it a lot of importance........unlike tapmi.
anyways it ur call buddy.........but just wanted to say that its not that simpley as u make it sound.

Dear all,
I have also recieved my letter ..... 😃 and cool work shailesh .... Well, But what i cud infer from the letter is that we wont be needing our certificates till the date of registration i.e. 23rd june .... i thought i must confirm this any1 pls tell me m i rite?? I am planning to take care of loan matters b4 the second installment and 4 that i think a visit to goa wud be compulsary any1 with me ?? but i am not clear what certificates the bank will need -- cos i dont have my migration certificates and original degree with me. And i am not clear whether the insti . will provide us the documents needed 4 the bank on the same day as v pay installment cos in that case v may very well proceed and get the loan sanctioned then and there ... any comments??

And thanks a lot to every1 the doubts about dress court and bike and hostels i am already feeling to be in goa he he ... 😃 😃
