What is going on abt the Junior Senior Meet in Mumbai...Sandeep Plz do keep us posted

The Mumbai meet is scheduled for the week 6-12 june either on a weekday or at the weekend.

Many ppl r out of town at the moment and r cumin back in the nxt day or two....so will discuss with them and let u know ASAP.

Is a weekday convenient for u ppl or wud u prefer a weekend?....accordingly we can arrange the meet

Well Anil,Neha and whoever else is reaching before 25th. Just read a mail frm a senior at yahoogrps. Seems that the college wud not b allowing us in before 25th so we'll have to manage in a hotel near GIM ......

Hi Manoj,
I had called up GIM, and talked to Mr. Mukesh, the System Administrator. He said they were still negotiating with the companies (Toshiba, IBM, Dell & Acer). They would finalise by Wednesday and let us know by end of this week. They are trying to get the notebook for less than Rs. 50K. By the way, I don't think you can pay on or after 27th. Most probably, you would have to pay up (send a draft) even before you physically reach Goa. Not sure.

the final mumbai meet is scheduled on the 9th of june at joggers park bandra. the time is 5 PM. ppl who want to come, but havent confirmed pls do so by informing me, sandeep or joel. our nos are in the yahoo group database.
also we have decided to make the journey by train. so anyone interested in joining in should get Rs. 300/person on the day of the meet. the train details will be discussed during the meet.

Hi All,

I have been incommunicado for sometime now.I had this TISS thing hanging over my head for sometime .I did not make to TISS(was in Bombay over the weekend),but hey!, that just confirmed GIM for me.Must say that im glad things worked out this way.

This has just given me 7 extra days to gear up for GIM and boy am I looking forward to coming down to Goa.

Im hoping to make the most of the 2years ahead and am looking forward to working with everyone of you.Great bunch of seniors and great bunch of batchmates im sure.

Lets rock Goa.......14 days and counting!

Better be vary of the rains guys.

For those who are ot from Mumbai or Goa the dictum "it rains cats and dogs" will get a whole new meaning. when it pours here in Goa, it really pours trust me . So please get your monsoon gear along.

gt a mail 2day frm gim specifyin the details n the over all cost.its cheap i thk effectiveLY cost is as low as last year ( mail says nt 2 disclose the amount 2 others ..nt in public!!!!!)
But its a good deal...dd needs 2 reach goa by 27th ..God knws how will i do dat coz i ll b travellin frm 2mrrw mornin till 25th i guess..so may be aftr landing up at
gim ..ll gve them the mny
keep in touch..n do post wat u doin abt THE dd n also send the confirmation if hve nt till now ... n send confirmation by 17th n dd by 27th june

had our last hyd gim meet b4 leaving for goa,,.....STAR ATTRACTION---------------------------FABULIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!man never knew dat fabulist(shashi) is doing his summers here at hyd!!!!venue apna eat street,necklace road...it was gr8......thanq sashi 4 turning up........and 2 all the ppl busy shopping and doing last minute things b4 comin 2 goa...LETS ROCK GOA!!!!!!!!

Back home after the 1 term..............going thru all these posts we made evokes nostalgic feelingsAlso I remember the confusion I faced about which college, why MBA etc ( dunno whether its solved yet...lol).......was lucky enuf to get good guidance frm my seniors.....so its my turn now....anybody wants any kinda help about anything in general and GIM in particular ill do my best to give it

hey folks been a long long time..was goin thru the thread..same time last yr v ver so anxious man,guys all the best 2 u all applicants there. ill be takin xat this year. im very comfortable in VA, my quant is really bad.
so does GIM take sectional cut offs? or shud i really go after VA n crack it.
