well about the GIM and SIBM thing, I will say GIM is the best...and very soon GIM will be called Greatest Institute for Management.
well rohit on a serious note, u can compare the profiles of people who r joining GIM and sibms, and soon u will find GIMites to be more interesting and more energetic lot...u will find great variety among GIMites, and offcourse rest things also matter.
so take a informative decision...see u at GIM:)

confusion and more confusion..
still in dilemma- GIM or SIBM dual..
few things--i wanna specialise in marketing and pple say GIM marketing course is really really good..
moreover i hv heard that SIBM is more known fo its finance course( nothing definite though, anyone who hv more info on this pliz help).
and as i mentioned earlier hv already paid 30 k in gim..Guys help me out..hv to pay the first instalment in sibm by tomo .
The only thing which i hv against SIBM is that it doesnt hv a rsidential program..i know that one is coming up by next year..but still one year isa lot and I somehow feel that for an MBA course(greater learning, sharing info and all residential prog is a must). pple do pour in wid ur views..

and rohit, ur thinking on the right lines. u want to specialize in marketing and GIM is better in marketing than SIBM and further GIM is fully residential, which provides greater learning. i think now things r becoming clearer.
well, now u have two things(and which matter a lot) that go against SIBM, DO U HAVE some things which goes against GIM (offcourse other than rating game
)?. if NOT, come to GIM and enjoy.

been a really long time since i posted on the forum....
yesterday was my last day at work so was busy winding up at work n stuff....
recieved my acknowledgement letter from GIM...but i thought it wasnt really clear about a lot of things....are they going to send us som other communication with more details?
things like our schedule thru the year...wen we get our breaks n stuff....the facilities we have in the hostel...like laundry n stuff....i thought they were unclear about a lot of basic details like this....
im thinkin of visitin the campus around 12th may coz i might be visitin goa then....
do you think thr will be someone on campus to show me the room n stuff.? can any of the seniors shed some light...??
this whole saree business is a lil scary since i have noo idea how to drape a saree n stuff...really hopin some girls comin have experience with this thing coz im gonna be countin on someones help....

am sorry abt not keeping in touch...esp with the delhi guys...hate this graveyard shift of mine! but it actually feels so good to come to PG every now and then and look at the list of amazing people i'm gonna spend my next two years with. it's gonna be nothing but pure, unadulterated fun!!!

Now about tuesdays delhi meet, we have made a last minute change in the timing of the meet. Now we will meet at 11:00 in the morning at PVR priya (Mc Donalds). me, anish, moneet and rajiv r in for the meet. about neha nothing like PAKKA. so not many people there, But still MILNA HAI TO FIR MILNA HAI:).

She asked me to inform all to send your confirmation for the laptop my email as they need some evidence in writing so a mail would suffice and dont forget to mention your Name and XAT ID in it.
