@caprion @RD11 thanks..even i am not bother about state universities.. after FPM it is fitting that teaching should be in IIM only 😃
it all started with "Dr" stuff..so added what i could find on Google..if i can teach in IIM, i am least bother about adding Dr or MBBS or whatever 😃
@GordonWebb My interaction with quite a few students and faculties is as such XLRI is a better avenue for candidate's opting for HRM, Personnel Management & Industrial Relations area.... and of course for an area like Information System like yours it is questionable for a DOCTORAL as such over there....hopefully me being in HR (studied Industrial Relations and Personnel Management as in MA & M.Phil both and with 10+ post experience in the same field and presently working in HR at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited with a keen aspiration to undergo the program only at XL which I have virtually dreamt off as it aligns to my profile vis-Ä‚ -vis institute per se). Of course it stands the largest faculty base in HR is drawn from XLRI only, where in it is easier to get aligned with faculties as Mentors.
You know I have been opted out neck to neck on the final interview in IIMC just because I told for HRM XLRI is a better option than IIMC for a Doctoral in HR/Personnel Management. By the way any good institutes like IIMs may give a sound course curriculum to know the whole gamut of PGP, but coming to doctoral we need to be choosy with faculty profiles & institute specialization & its genesis etc. Afterall proximity too home town matters for spending half a decade too...

Hi everyone! My profile is
10th -94%
12th- 92%
BTech-86%
I have done an internship in IIIT Bangalore on cryptography and have Business English Certificate from University of Cambridge.
I have joined TCS in Oct,2012.
I have a deep interest in Organisational Behaviour and would like to pursue FPM. But I do not have relevant research work on it.
Kindly suggest ways by which I can make my candidature strong for FPM. Your valuable insights will be very helpful.
@sarba555 If you want to target top IIMs, I would suggest you work for a couple of years. Also you can do a distance learning masters in Psychology/HR or do courses from coursera in parallel. Otherwise you have a good enough profile for other IIMs and business schools.
