@sarba555 ...wud agree with @sb29...u aren't considered "serious enough" for the areas of OB & HRM without substantial, relevant work-ex!! "top IIMs" told me dat in these areas we prefer either girls or ppl with grey hair, while i belonged to neither of the two groups...plus 'zero' work-ex was another drawback :P
@sarba555 as many have said in this forum, it seems the general trend is to take people with either loads of work experience or people with a demonstrated flair for HR rsearch. In the last 3 years at IIMB we have had only people of either of these categories making th cut for OBHR area. One Route is to work in HR relaeted roles and develop 2 or 3 years of worm exp, otherwise you can try for RA positions in institututes and try to co author couple of papers with good professors in those institutes. If those papers go to peer reviewed journals then your candidature significantly improves. You may want to try 2nd route if you dont like going to corporate jobs.

I still have no news from ISB H for my FPM IS application ... will they be announcing the results exactly on 2nd that is tomorrow and do they sent rejection mails ? I am expecting a direct acceptance or a rejection from them since I haven't got any emails so far ... ...

@MHV my interview was pretty cool..basically it was a chat with all the faculty..but depends on area...ops is not having a panel interview...some other departments will have panel I think...
for IS as far I understand..they are not taking anyone this year I think...interviews are on for financial economics and accounting tomm and after

But the results again are department wise...don't be surprised if you get some tomorrow for other areas.....and anyways there are interviews scheduled on third also
