well those of you who are talking about Koscielny's foul on Pedro in the box.. maybe u guys didn't notice, but it was a handball by Pedro in the first place.. so no chance of a penalty there..!!

yes i agree we were a lil lucky with that goal for Messi being disallowed but then who doesn't need a lil bit of luck on their side.. even Barca had their share of luck in the 2009 CL semifinal against Chelsea.. so, nobody should really crib about it..!!

And those who are adamant that Song should have been dealt a red card.. well, go and have a look at challenges by Gattuso and Flamini vs Spurs.. if those deserved only 1 yellow card.. i guess it was harsh for Song to get even 1 yellow, and you guys are talking bout 2..!!

yeah.. watch out for Paul Pogba n Ravel Morrison(he is way better than wilshere) in a cple of years... Utd policy of developing youth n then unleashing them at right time(Arsene Wenger is pretty bad in that..)

yeah u wudnt want to loose Pepe with contract talks stalled.. he is a big asset to ur defense at the moment with Carvalho..

If there is one place where Barcelona is weak...then it has to be the defense...!!! That too...both dani alves and maxwell march forward than they defend (play more of a winger role)...!!

Camp Nou will be the place to watch after a couple of weeks time

Last year only one or two of the startng 11 players played for arsenal...there was no cesc no rvp no gallas no verma infact there was sylvestre and song in defense ...barca should ve own by a lot more than 3 goals with that kinda bad defense

Given... they will miss puyol pique in the second leg...but personally for me it wont be a huge miss to say someone like messi or xavi missing the leg....to say they are different team without them is grossly an overstatement:shocked:....i think gabi milito & abidal would be in the defence who are good player & would get into most sides in europe
As far as fullbacks are concern i like bombing fullbacks...they add another dimension to the game

Paul Pogba is a raw talent not yet tried and tested.Rave Morrison is way better than Wilshere...haha made my day..It's like new Messi or new Zidane.

The thing about the goal was there were arsenal players in the box and at the far post...the most likely thing that anyone would ve done was cross the ball...valdes must ve expecting that only if he would rushed out or something like that he wouldve left the goal exposed to bendtner at the far post. That is why he was in 2 minds and this led to the goal. In a way valdes was correct because hardly anyone has the skill to shoot like that and most people would cross. So it was not that bad a case of GK as everyone is making it out to be

Few Observations from Arsenal Barca match:

1. Barcelona's weakest link is their defence. Their attack and mid field might be the best but their defence is pretty average.
2. Best way to attack Barcelona is counter-attack.
3. Always defend deep agaisnt barcelona. Thats what Arsenal did wrong in their first half. Their defence line was too high. But they got their act together in the second half and went a bit deeper.

Ofcourse Barcelona still have an upper hand but Arsenal too have a better chance now. EPL teams are performing good. Tottenhem and Arsenal played well. Its safe to presume that Manu and Chelsea will win their fixtures too.

with that angle its a pretty difficult to score.. RVP shot was marvellous..
he is such a gud player just marred by injuries..what a shame..

n for the 2nd one he dint even moved..just lied back dwn on his goal..
he is as gud as Kuszzack Man Utd have..who is also a bit of nervous keeper..


look at De Gea. Neuer , Adler , VDS , Reinaand Stekenlburg n then think..he is as u wud say gud but not world class for a Barca team.. n dats a fact..

btw Pique is not gud in back tracking as he commits himself forward too at times..its Puyol who used to do that role effectively for Barca in case of a counter attack..

yes with Milito n Ebidal in defence they can make it into next round.

2nd Ramos is average in defending but he is very good in attacking which makes up for it..
its Marcelo who lacks defending n positioning awareness at times which can be costly at times.

3rd Pato if and if ever leaves AC Milan he is chelsea bound considering his closeness to Carlo Ancelotti(he has a soft corner for him too..)
