And abt Arsene Wenger - wat to say...thts wat it takes to become a master tactician...!! super substitions (although it wasnt the best strting lineup he chose)...well he did everythng well in the second half...bringing arshavin on for song...paid millions for him 
But but but - Barcelona have a priceless Away goal...which they will capitalise on...!!

What I'm most happy about is that we looked the better team for most of the game. Barca had tons of complete passes, around double ours, but we threatened with quality chances. I'm happy about what I saw tonight. We made Barca look human, and beatable.

Anyways coming to the result, pretty motivating win for Arsenal who deserve all the luck they can get in the Champions league. At the same time 2-1 loss in an away tie is not bad at all for Barca. 1-0 loss would have been the ideal result for Arsenal but nevertheless great win.
At Camp Nou, one thing is for certain. Arsenal have to score first. Then they'll be in cruise control of the tie.
P.S - I just saw Milan V Spurs repeat telecast yesterday and what the hell is wrong with the camera people feeding Ten Sports! Pathetic coverage of the game. Awful commentary. They just exemplified in how many ways you can screw up a soccer game telecast. Horror Show!! Shame on Ten Sports!
A sweet sweet victory! It was sweet not because we beat them or the way we beat them. It was because no one except the gooners believed we could do it. Wenger took a lot of risks the incredibly high back line. Having bendtner arsha RVP cesc nasri walcott on at the same time could have backfired and the tie could ve been over last night!! But boy did we show courage Arshra is class have back him on all forums while people tore into him and by did he score a good goal 😁 😁 😁 he is a gem no doubt about it. No need to say anything about RVP, if this guy could stay fit he is much better than drogba , rooney , torres etc by a large amount
These kind of results are not a flash in the pan we did at san siro when milan were a major force, at the bernabeau towards the end of the galactico era, in Turin when juventus were not BS like they are now

i myself an ardent manu fan since i dnt know when but i have never felt the need to boast off our achivements.. and i know arsenal being our fierce rival since the inception of epl (read bpl now) , but i have always respected their game and their supporters..
we as a club need not boast off our achievements.. just follow the glory without disrespecting football or any club...

With pique and Puyol out for the tie it ll be an interesting one...walcott and nasri made maxwell look very very mediocre yester. Barcelona are the much stronger team on paper but they do have weaknesses as well. If arsenal can stay injury free who knows wat could happen. Rubin Kazan and Hercules have beaten them at the nou camp in the last one year so not as if they are invincible. But one thing is certain its gonna be an even better match than this one irrespective of the result

If there is one place where Barcelona is weak...then it has to be the defense...!!! That too...both dani alves and maxwell march forward than they defend (play more of a winger role)...!!
Barca without pique and puyol will certainly lack the strength they have in defense...!!
Arsenal have to exploit in tht area-wenger again has a major role to play in here-to plan such strategies...!!

Is it just me or somehow the prudence of Arsenal fans have gone for a toss...
Same fans who till last week were complaining about bad reffeerin but there is no mention of that after yesterday's match...Specially after Messi's perfectly legitimate goal was disallowed and few penalty shouts too turned down...Not only this we have seen people gettin second yellow for a lot less of what Song was allowed to do after his first yellow... So should I assume that there will be no cribbin about United gettin decisions their way!!!!
Havin said all of that I no way disagree that Arsenal played great game, specially after goin 1 goal down. And being a United fan I really want Arsenal to go as far in UEFA as possible (well of course until they encounter United) so that makes PL campaign a lil taxin for them as well....
What a shame Barcelona lost last nite... a very unfair result
1. Messi was onside for that goal... n 2-0 up. Arsenal cudnt have cumback into the game from there as they lack that mentality
2. Laurent koscielny's push was a foul in the box.it shud hav been a penalty
3. Victor Valdes proved hes not a world class keeper as he is rarely tested..
4. Barca missed Puyol as he is so good on deffense in terms of a counter attack as Barca committ too many men forward.
With Pique due to miss next home CL match it wud be intersting to see can arsenal capitalise..
to be honest its advantage Man utd n Real Madrid(provided dey dnt get knocked out to Lyon gain) as Barca will be shown the door early in CL knockout stages..

yes i agree we were a lil lucky with that goal for Messi being disallowed but then who doesn't need a lil bit of luck on their side.. even Barca had their share of luck in the 2009 CL semifinal against Chelsea.. so, nobody should really crib about it..!!
And those who are adamant that Song should have been dealt a red card.. well, go and have a look at challenges by Gattuso and Flamini vs Spurs.. if those deserved only 1 yellow card.. i guess it was harsh for Song to get even 1 yellow, and you guys are talking bout 2..!!
