The true indication of the leagues will be for judgment when the champions League starts. Eagerly waiting to see the Barcelona vs Arsenal match.
As for Ronaldo , he seems to be inspired more by Messi rather than anyone else. Everytime Messi overtakes him in golden shoe race, he finds the net more quickly.
All good/bad things come to an end eventually( Good or bad is open to interpretation )

I too am a Real Madrid fan and to be honest I didnt like Barca mostly because of invidia. But the 5-0 defeat at their hands made me realize two things
- Real Madrid need time to gel and improve as a team
- Have never seen a team which can literally destroy opponents when they want to like Barcelona. The fallback of this event was that I gradually began to appreciate Barcelona's style of football ( Not the Barcelona club though )
But football isn't that simple and last time Inter defeated Barcelona in CL using some brilliant tactics. So anything can happen this time too in the champions league.

The time i started watching the game, Madrid used to have such a gr8 team wid zidane figo raul carlos becks...the list goes on...!!! So i am loyal in supporting them since then...!!!
And this year Madrid again have a good time to give barca a tough fight (although we lost the El Classico by a large margin i dont think tht there is much to choose between the teams)
And Yeah i am among the very who wud like to see La Liga better than the EPL

Their group stage wasnt totally convincing as is their La Liga campaign...!!!

i dunno why are people so excited after series of wins .. i am huge fan of liverpool and would be happy if they win .. But Winning doesn't mean other teams are waste/bad .. its jus one tactically bad day in the office .. As a professional , players themselves know that .. but i dunno why u ppl involve in personal attacks ..

the only thing which can stop barca is the manager of the club they are facing.. they have far too much talent at their disposal.. i dont know if you all remember the semi final of 2009 champions league between chelsea and barca.. during the course of 180 minutes , barca managed only 3-5 shots on target..:shocked:
even though chelsea lost that game on the away goal rule but the mindset of chelsea was not at all defensive (unlike the inter vs barca game) .. according to me Guss Hiddink had the perfect strategy in that game as to how to tame barca without putting 10 men behind the ball ..
but nonethless i think if someone can beat barca at their own game its arsenal.. we shall see what happens in a weeks time..eagerly waiting for champions league to start again ..:thumbsup:

I can see them giving any seirous challenge to barca. Barca posses too much quality for me BARCA Team= Spanish National Team(well almost)+Messi.

....but our EPL is not that bad...team like wolves have beaten 3 teams out of the top 4 and still lie next to bottom level in points with the bottom team...you can never see such things happening in la liga...its either barca or real

There is no doubt that Arsenal lack experience and goal keeping has been one of their Achilles heel in recent years. But some of it can be attributed to their strategy of selling players when their team is well set. I remember that after the great unbeaten team of Henry,Viera,Cole and Bergcamp they managed to set up a decent team with the likes of Flamini, Hleb , Adebayor , Gilberto. Infact in 2007 they became the first English team to beat AC Milan at the San Siro. But what happen afterwards , the experienced guys like Flamini, Hleb , Adebayor , Gilberto were all sold subsequently and the core of the team became weak.
In recent times they have shown conviction in retaining Fabregas. Had they shown the same conviction by offering better incentives to Flamini, Hleb , Adebayor and Gilberto they wouldnt have been facing a trophy drought like this.
