dev30 Saysgood to see a la liga fan....but our EPL is not that bad...team like wolves have beaten 3 teams out of the top 4 and still lie next to bottom level in points with the bottom team...you can never see such things happening in la liga...its either barca or real
& then rest of the teams...its becoming too predictable:drinking:
No no no...mate i never said EPL is BAD...:lookround:
Actually every football fan in india first gets to know only abt the EPL and then his gyaan deepens into other leagues

Well to say of the bottom teams beating top teams...la liga also had some surprises...hercules beating barca in Nou Camp and more recently Osasuna beating Madrid at Navarra..!!
But the upsets are fewer there coz the teams are brilliant...!!!
Arguably Barcelona and Real Madrid are the best in the world now...!!! :lookround:
So they cant be defeated as easily as other teams are...its not about being predictable...it is about the strength and ability of the teams tht they are winning every odd match they play

PS - No offence meant to EPL or any other teams...!!
vaibsss Saysand another drawback of arsenal is their inability to close out games.. look what happened during the past weekend , from 4-0 up they left st james with a single point... this has been the biggest reason for their trophy less seasons (5 and counting)..
They lack experience mate...!!
They are a youthful team....blended well by arsene wenger...they have the commitment nd zeal to win...but they shud get certain players who are experienced and played some good long years in the game...!!
One thing i notice is tht arsenal lack internationally capped players...agreed they have fabregas(who comes in the second string spain team/or as a sub), nasri (gr8 future prospect), van persie, rosicky to name a few...but u see they need even better players most probably in the defensive positions to shape up the team even better than it is now :lookround:
There is no doubt that Arsenal lack experience and goal keeping has been one of their Achilles heel in recent years. But some of it can be attributed to their strategy of selling players when their team is well set. I remember that after the great unbeaten team of Henry,Viera,Cole and Bergcamp they managed to set up a decent team with the likes of Flamini, Hleb , Adebayor , Gilberto. Infact in 2007 they became the first English team to beat AC Milan at the San Siro. But what happen afterwards , the experienced guys like Flamini, Hleb , Adebayor , Gilberto were all sold subsequently and the core of the team became weak.
In recent times they have shown conviction in retaining Fabregas. Had they shown the same conviction by offering better incentives to Flamini, Hleb , Adebayor and Gilberto they wouldnt have been facing a trophy drought like this.
Really agree wid ur point...!!
Dude one thin i observed tht wen some arsenal player gets transferred to other clubs they are not being a part of the starting 11...
Be it thierry henry, vieira, hleb (disaster signing by barca
), flamini (milan), adebayor (MC), etc...they struggle to get into the starting 11...while at arsenal they are gr8 but u know they struggle wen offloaded to other teams...!!!I can conclude on thing here, Arsene Wenger uses his resources pretty pretty well...!!! He is a master tactician

PS - I wud like Arsenal to Beat Barca like they beat Milan...and tht too in Camp Nou
& then rest of the teams...its becoming too predictable:drinking:
