I understand mate, feel the same pain when i realize that the 'DROG' is not dere anymore to save our a**es!!!

All of that is ok.. But the shock of the Week was India winning the Nehru Cup! :w00t:

The way they played the last Round Robin game against Cameroon, I was damn sure that Cameroon would pump 5-7 goals in the first half first, and then go on to defend there A**ses off in the next half. The Indians on the other hand seemed not at all interested in playing with them. They were not even challenging for the ball.

But today in the morning when I saw the result, I was SHOCKED!

India won in Penalties! 😁 That too against a 66th ranked team. Impressive!
@BABA_Pencho During the round robin match a lot of starters were rested so that they would be fresh for the final and we still only lost that match by a solitary goal... But all said and done a day to be proud for Indian Football.

Speaking of the Nehru Cup win... Chettri won the player of the tournament award. I hope more enterprising youngster follow his lead and play in leagues outside india. Maybe PG fan can form a agent consultancy

Russian club Zenit St Petersburg has splashed out on two players....

32m pounds on alex witsel from benfica....

Really......... nowadays in football just money speaks otherwise no top player sane or insane would want to go to russia

So much for an Economic Downturn in europe!!!! :D

It clearly indicates that the Russians are taking Champions League seriously. Plus Russian League is a competitive league as well. In fact I would rate it a better league than the French, Dutch, and even the Portuguese Leagues. The players there are tougher, and more physical than in these places.

CR7 says he is sad... If i was his gaffer I would have told him to

This transfer window has shown what money can do. Look at PSG for instance they went all out... And now the ruskies are joining in...

Its just the middle of the week but all those who have have a fantasy team do not forget to make changes

@Adymos Why now ? I suppose, there is an International Break this weekend, so no EPL matches would be played...It's better to wait till next week, as there might be Injuries to our players in our Fantasy Team while on International Duty...

I dunno whats the matter with him, but one thing is for sure. CR has had enough of limelight on him, and in my opinion, he is cracking down due to the media pressure. Everyone has their meltdown, some have it too early in their career, some have it late, but everyone snaps for sure. I think that this is that moment in CR's life.

Michael Owen joins Stoke City as a Free Agent.

Hope his career takes a better shape as a Potter than it did at Man Utd.

injuries destroyed his career!!!

Same thing Raul Mereiles did with his career. That Mushroom-head had already become a key player at Anfield, and was a fan favorite. A long illustrious career was awaiting him. But what does he do? He runs for money, just like everybody else.

Look where he is now! Bloody not even 30, and already in the Turkish League. His career is all gone!
Next thing we will hear, he has gone to Ukraine, or Russia, after a couple of more years.

Sad! 😞

Ohh please! If it was for AVB, he would have never left Porto. It was clearly for higher wages.
I wouldn't say that is was a bad move, but then, when did the word LOYAL go out of the picture?

Tony Adams is a legend. Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Phil Neville (For Everton as well as Man Utd), Jamie Redknapp, King Kenny, Roy Keane, Stiliyan Petrov, John Terry, Messi, Puyol, Paolo Maldini, Totti, Trezeguet. These are legends.

Torres, C. Ronaldo, RVP might be good players, but they are not legends. Hope you get what I mean...

Is it just me or there are others who really would like to do away with the internantional break so that we can have some premier league action each and every weekend??

And while we are at it,lets scrap the winter break also.....cant wait for weekend!!!!!

errr....torres shud not have left liverpool.......steven gerrard confessed" liverpool made a great mistake to send xabi alonso to other team........"...........
