I feel that Ozil and Di Maria will have a big say in the night . Ozil especially has a point to prove to pep as he didn't take the opportunity to buy him.

I wonder why the real king vanishes when he's outside camp nou. Examples : manchester utd.(2007), chelsea(200, inter(2009) on the European front. I hope those are "big" matches according to you. And even in the world cup,whatever be his number of attempts on goal, he didn't score a single one.

I absolutely adore messi for his footballing skills, but to call CR7 a whatever, and to say he scores only against real zaragoza is completely outrageous. I don't think you watched football in his manchester days.

BTW, shocking result for mou. This must be the worst defeat in his career.

The season is a tight one , I would love to see Arsenal lift up the trophy but occasionally they performance definitely frustrates. Let's hope that Manu draws a few more .

I agree with you.For me Messi was far better than Ronaldo yesterday.But put Messi in a team without Xavi and Iniesta and we will see how he does.

For the record, Messi played in the world cup with Argentina and watched his side haplessly losing to Germany 4-0.You are only as good as the team and it holds for Messi too.

The barca team is technically far superior than any other team in the world....it's like the football is just an extension to their body. The current crop of players is playing with each other for ages now. Xavi , iniesta are currently in the top 5 bracket . Even defenders like pique has an excuisite touch.Add to that, the very ,very special talent of messi.

It's best to sit back, absorb the pressure and hit them on the brakes. Unfortunately, RM don't have defenders (Terry/carvalho at best/lucio/vidic,ferdinand) for that.

EDIT : Just read that Xavi completed 110 passes yesterday.110 passes in a single game!!! A La liga record.

the catch is : as long as xavi plays like this, messi will hit 40+ goals each year (he is more than capable of doing it without xavi, mind it; but with xavi it becomes easier 😃 ) and will be a more preferred contender for ballon d'or, over xavi.
