Have you tried playing SEGA Football Manager 2012!!!
Pudes, it is LEGENDARY!!! Haven't seen a Manager Mode, so realistic and awesome ever!
You cannot play matches in here, and you cannot simulate them as well. You have to stand in the sidelines, analyse and play tactics in each and every match, just the way a REAL manager does.
Try it, as it is too good!
havent played that but hav played EA Football Manager. wil try if its that good!the only reason i stick to FIFA is for the sheer fun of the gameplay...PES fans might argue that they are more realistic, but then if u cant score SCREAMERs (in Andy Gray's voice) due to hardened AI and gameplay, then whats the fun!?
absolutely! theres nothing like the actual exhiliration of playing on the turf! \m/but playing FIFA, PES or FM gives u a comprehensive knowledge about the world of football, the league norms and regulations, how teams qualify, relagate or get promoted and etc etc. btw u got bored of FIFA?? Man i have every cd/dvd of FIFA since 99 and still cant wait for 13 to come out in Sept/Oct!! :D
I agree too!! Sweating in the field has no substitute at all!!!
When I was thinner, and fitter, I used to play as a right winger. But then I broke all the toes of my right leg in an accident, I started to play as a Central Defender.
All of it is now things of past. Nowadays I am an ASSET to a COMPANY
as an arsenal fan it breaks my heart to see chelsea win UCL before arsenal.
But i am going to concentrate more on the silver lining here. Spurs out of UCL. I hope modric and bale leave. i dont care if they join Man C and are wasted there or join Everton, and Everton become a top 4 contender, just not spurs.
London could be red or blue. it should never be white.
The problem with arsenal fans is they are really happy at 3rd position and Tot out of CL .You people should think of bigger picture .Not a gunner hater .But feel arsenal is much more capable than what they are now
People may say chelsea was lucky even i feel the same But all the hard work for last 5 years on UCL and shitty decisions won't be forgotten I say chelsea deserved to be lucky this tym . But at the same time very sad for Bayern
Things to be noted everyone will get their chance u just have to ride it.
don't want him Hate his money-grabbing attitude he's just playing with all 3 clubs just to squeeze out every bit of penny he can get out of the new contract And though he has been exceptional in french league, the latter is nowhere close to BPL standard and hence he doesn't deserve the astronomical wages that he wants.
even wenger was trying for him but he's a big-time gold digger just like that Tevez..delaying contract extension for greed!my only wish this season : RVP Plz Stay !! Puhleeez!!

If you say that Arsenal fans are happy with third place then you really don't know about us. With the kind of start that we had, finishing 3rd this season was a relief for sure but certainly we're not happy with it. The team lacks organization, this has caused the team to suffer on many occasions.
I don't think Chelsea or United or any other premier league team has a overall better team than Arsenal. Chelsea had already proved that you don't need to have players like Messi to win a trophy. I'm really impressed with the way RDM managed Chelsea in semifinal and final. They played those game with a strategy. This is something which Wenger needs to adopt. We can't play the same passing game in each and every match, it simply doesn't work all the time. Defenders needs to be organized. Most of the matches we lost were due to defensive errors. Now we're not sure if RvP will stay or not, but we're mentally prepared for the worse to happen.

DM, right wing??? You must be really fit...
I used to play in midfield all the time wearing a blue Chelsea T-shirt of Mr. Frank Lampard... those golden days.... but 2 years in TCS spoilt all my stamina.. :banghead:
But now going to SJMSOM and definately going to play football regularly for 2 years...need to get back in shape to help my team win..

I used to wear a Drogba Jearsey .. Have become a corporate dog meself.. 😛 No time to play since my work timings are 11 am to 9 pm excluding 4 hours of travelling.. I wish I could get back to my college days... oh wait, what are B-Schools for?
Anyways, confused between the English and the Germans for the Euro cup.;)

Same case . Was a centre back in college . Played as a keeper as well in school . Jersey Joe Cole and Peter Cech at times But well college over , stamina over
Joined TCS . About to finish a year . Have not played in a long time . But to keep myself fit , i run daily in the morning. Preparing for CAT . Hopefully will get a college with a good football pitch (The one in my engineering college sucked big time . No grass ) . And ll continue playing
Guys as the season ends, its gr8 to refresh those footballing memories.... I have left tcs and am at home for 2 months before college starts and guess what I started to play football again last weekend.... After 15 mins, I couldnt make those runs from midfield like I used to do when I tried to do everything frankie did :banghead: But stamina builds slowly... hoping will be fit again in 2 months....
@Jafri - dude, ATB buddy... Hope to see you in SOM next year and in the SOM football team
After 12th , I moved to Tanjore for my B.Tech . Red soil with not even a hint of grass with so many stones . Looked more like a graveyard . Was so scared to play on that ground in the initial days . Daily injuries . Luckily they made a nice pitch with grass and lights by the time i finished my 3rd year. But then that was opened only for special games and stuff So seriously missed the grass throughout the college life . Nothing can match that .
Came to chennai . Then started playing on the beach . Well it needs a lot of stamina . But its nice . Have heard that the SPJAIN , IIT's , XIM B and few other colleges have good football fields . Ll definitely be a big factor when i decide on the college
I played on similar deadly red hard turfs too!! Had too many injuries but the love for the game was too irresistible to stop playing, but for last two years all I play is EA sports FIFA or watch and chat.
I have a funny experience to share about my playing positions, I always preferred to be a Center forward or just behind the Striker but when in college 1st year : "Kyu be aage khelega, chal piche Defence pe" and I was the center back 2nd year : " Tu defence ko support kar, Aage jyaada mat aa" and I became defensive midfeilder 3rd year : " Tu na game bana, game hold kar" And I became a Central Mid fielder Final Year: Ab to mera time he yaar and i played in the CF role..lol Thanks to my seniors I played all over the pitch, and became a utility player!!
Even at SIBM,Pune we have super ground..floodlit and as it is on hills so amazing view, and they are renovating it with sprinklers and with every modern facility ..cant wait to return after internship and kick some balls..:)
I also used to play a lot in Sainik School...where there was a decent ground but after that hooked on to basketball but never stopped watching football and hope to continue playing next sem 😃

Kya yaar, U guys have touched the wrong nerve... senti ho gaya hun main!
I used to play football like a mad man down in my school days. So much so that once our football got flat, & we started kicking the basketball around!!! I come from the North-Eastern part of India, & over here football is worshiped! The farther U go in to this part of the world, the more prominent & evident the love for football reflects. It's like it runs through the veins of the people out here. U will be amazed to see players from places like Shillong, Mizoram, Manipur, or perhaps Nagaland dribble & run around with the ball!:w00t:
I myself was a prolific football player, & my hot-spot was the Central Midfield. My mates would always put me in that place so that I can put in through balls, & block the incoming attack & curl in some nice passes!
I loved Football; I was crazy about it! But come Engineering, & all I was playing was EA's FIFA 20xx , due to lack of a proper ground & opportunities. I always hated & resented staying away from the beautiful game. But not anymore. After joining SIOM, my affection for playing the beautiful game has rekindled & I'm up again, running around, tormenting defences!!!:drinking:
I always feel bad when I fail to achieve something I crave, but then feel a bit relieved when i come to know that I am not the only one, there are many like me, I guess this is human tendency
Thank you all on this thread to make me feel that I am not the only one who is not playing Football on the feild and adding kilos by doing nothing but Donkey work..
well we all are here because.. and no doubt the best way of enjoying this is playing the beautiful game (the most beautiful game)
I am joining NITIE this year.. read about many ppl joining IIT B and SPJ this year who love playing football.. so why not we all get together and start playing football on sundays as we all will be in the same city.. maybe if god permits organize a tournament too.. nitie has one cricket league going on, which is hugely popular.. we can start a football league...
we can keep in contact through PG.. what say?? anyone game??
CLUBS LIKE LIVERPOOL, REAL MADRID, CELTIC, GLASGOW RANGERS, MANCHESTER UNITED, POHANG STEELERS, AJAX, KAISER CHIEFS, BARCELONA, RIVER PLATE, SANTOS, MILAN, ETC WILL ALWAYS REMAIN AS SPECIAL CLUBS FOR THEIR ASSORTED HISTORIES! LET US KEEP IT THAT WAY, PLEASE! :)
WHILE CLUBS LIKE CHELSEA, ARSENAL, MANCHESTER CITY, MONTPELIER, ATLETICO MADRID, NAPOLI ARE DOING EXCEPTIONALLY WELL AND WILL SURELY HAVE SUCH A COVETED HISTORY SOON.
Dude how can you say that Arsenal doesnt have a coveted history.. they are 3rd most successful english side and were on par with Man U till ferguson took over..
its just that unlike others arsenal fans dont talk about history, cause we are not fans because of history but because the style of football they play..
yeah yeah i know it doesnt work sometime.. good teams with good defense can stop arsenal from scoring.. and barcelona play better football.. but still there is something in arsenal which we all love.. and it doesnt matter if you are united fan or liverpool fan.. if you love football you cant hate arsenal..
