since you want to drag this again and again, why don't u get these facts into your head ?
And you termed someone as a deluded gloryhunter, just because he/she supports Chelsea. Let me tell you, in that case, each and every supporter from the subcontinent are gloryhunters, and that includes you. You supported Arsenal because it was winning, otherwise there were plenty of clubs whom u could have supported in EPL.
Anyway, no point talking to you on this matter anymore. You want to wear your holier-than-thou attitude as "most" of the Arsenal fans do these days. But next time when we beat you, bring up points pertaining to the game rather than your daily dose of history lesson. End of.
Most of the Arsenal fans have gone insane and I am a mindless Arsenal supporter.I got it finally. And seriously there is no point to talking to you on this matter since haughtiness has taken toll on you(just after few consecutive wins). And it was your post that sparked the controversy. You could have put it in better way but you chose to make it as offensive as you could have with kids and all. And regarding daily dose of history, you tried to disrespect us first, that's why I came with history to make it clear that we are the third most successful club in England. And for beating next time,we could have discussed about the game this time only but it didn't happen thanks to your ridiculous post. P.S you don't have valid logical points to get it in my head. They are too contradictory among themselves.
And that is the reason why Chelsea is hated by so many people. Chelsea have been successful with the current team, but there seems to be no initiative on its part to engage in player development, which is a responsibility of a club according to me. Winning is not everything in football, and the most famous managers are not the ones who won the most trophies, but the ones who established a tradition at a club, which automatically results in a lot of trophies. For example, Sir Matt Busby, Bill Shankly and the likes. Sadly, that doesn't seem to be the case with Chelsea.
P.S. Just engaging in friendly banter, no offence meant
So according to you only those coaches who build a youth team are successful. Then it means that likes of Mourinho, Ancelloti etc won't be remembered as great coaches coz they only won trophies and the likes of Arsene Wenger who bring youths from Africa and Europe will be remembered coz of their youth team....
As I said earlier in my previous post Chelsea has been trying to improve their youth academy and even Ancelloti has specified it many times. The improvement just needs time to happen ...

If you read carefully, i have said the most famous managers are the ones who have established a tradition at the club. This does not mean building youth teams. Though development of youth is an integral part of that. It could also mean buying the right player, or enforcing your own style of play at the club. Mourinho and Ancelotti are already legends, but they will never be remembered as the managers who built Chelsea. Ten years down the line, you may say looking at the 2009-2010 season, that that was the season Chelsea regained the crown in spectacular way, but not Ancelotti's Chelsea. Ancelotti may be relegated to the footnotes. In contrast, the Arsenal side that completed the invincible season, will always be remembered as Wenger's Arsenal, or the treble winning United side of 1999, will always be remembered as Fergie's United. And i think you should give due respect to Wenger. He not only brings youth from Africa and Europe, but has won a lot of trophies till now.
Honestly, i still don't see the commitment from Chelsea in developing youth as of now. It does take time, but hasn't Roman been around at the club too long already?
Btw, Ancelotti and Mourinho don't yet come in the league of Shankly and Busby. They may sometime later, but not yet. Of the current crop, only Fergie merits a place there, and Wenger is close too.

don't get it. My exact wordings were : Kids come and go, Drogba is forever. What's wrong in that ? Arsenal fields 18-yr olds and 19-yr olds, it's their philosophy, and most of the Arsenal fans support Wenger for developing the youth system. So which part did you find so offensive in the first place ? Everybody says Chelsea is an ageing side, which is true to some extent, I don't find it offensive at all. That's fact.
@arion5:maybe you are right to some extent, but the Chelsea side which won back-to-back EPLs will always be remembered as Mourinho's Chelsea . Lets hope Ancelotti can repeat the success and have a long stint at the Bridge.
Bayer 04 Leverkusen will be without Michael Ballack for the rest of the UEFA Europa League group stage after his shin injury was found to be "much worse than originally thought".
Michael Ballack has been ruled out for the rest of the year after breaking the upper surface of the tibia in his left leg. The Bayer 04 Leverkusen midfielder suffered the fracture, at the top of the shin bone, during the match against Hannover 96 on 11 September.
The injury had initially been considered minor, but scans have since shown that it was "much worse than originally thought", according to the Bundesliga club. Ballack's leg could be in plaster for six weeks, a situation coach Jupp Heynckes described as "regrettable". Heynckes added: "I hope Michael Ballack will return to the team at full strength for the second half of the season after his rehabilitation and preparation is complete." Ballack missed the FIFA World Cup because of an ankle injury and since joining Leverkusen from Chelsea FC in the summer had featured in just two Bundesliga matches prior to the Hannover game. The break rules the Germany captain out of Leverkusen's UEFA Europa League group stage campaign as well as the 17 November friendly against Sweden which had been pencilled in as his return to the national side.
I really dont understand how ownership is responsible for liverpool's dismal performances on the pitch.. its not the owners who are gonna go out there and play.. liverpool had 3-4 decent new signings this year..and if these guys are not performing, how is the ownership responsible..!! seems the fans just need something to blame.. i read the same issue in a Harry Redknapp interview sumwhere and found it pretty relevant..!! Can someone please explain how having new owners can make star players play better when they hv been much below par this season..?? and what wrongs did the previous owners do if Joe cole,Raul Merieles, Poulsen and even Torres have had nothing to contribute so far this season?? Even oldies like Pepe Reina and Carrragher have made blunders this season..!! The issue is not ownership.. its the motivation and commitment of the players..jus doesnt seem to be there.. no passion in their play!!
Rolfes scored a brace for Leverkusen to come from behind and win!!!

complete u turn in the Rooney saga, Now he's signed a deal to stay on Man Utd till 2015 .. Reports flooding in by the minute, Comments by Ferguson and Ferdinand
First he came and said that United dint match his ambitions and then he signs another contract(Just to earn a few more bucks).Hopefully his urge to earn more is satisfied.Lets see how he performs after this.
Another analysis. For me the top four teams in Europe according to form and who will probably make the Champions League semis (Unless they clash with each other) are :
Real Madrid ( Yay we are back ) Chelsea ( Solid despite missing a few players )
Barca ( Are always dangerous with Messi )
Arsenal ( Showing a lot of spirit and flamboyance )
