As for the lineup.... ------------Torres--------------- Mata/Malouda -Modric - Anelka -------Lamps----Essien----------
(I personally rate Torres over Drogba)
This would mean Mikel and Ramires being on the bench which truly they dont deserve to be.... also it means Lamps playing a much deeper role similar to what he does for England... which would effectively dry up his goals so not recommended....
This should be the proper formation according to me !! :|
P.S One thing to note here guys... Our Beloved Captain.. JT26 [ John Terry ] has no back fill coz ..He's Irreplaceable:clap::clap::clap:
----- KTBFFH
Nice formation though this would be plan B which AVB would have... Chelsea reverted to this formation against WBA when Kalou was taken off...
Also, Lamps never plays well in the hole behind the two strikers(ANelka was preferred for that role last year by Ancelloti)... Mata could be the man for that role
My take on how Chelsea would line-up:
I am assuming AVB wont change the 4-3-3 right now and would revert to a 4-4-2 at some point in the future ...

Trust me when you guys will buy Modric (Which will eventually happen) and he will surely play in the hole with mata in the left, the goals will never dry up. I would rather prefer Lampard and Essien/Mikel in CM as they are the experienced folks in blue colours.
And as for benching players who don't deserve to be, it is something that is expected when the owners are always looking to bring in new players in every transfer window (required or not required). Plus on the brighter side, you get depth in squad and rotation of players is possible without compromising quality.
man shitty is paying him double wage so not surprising at all...but yes we r in deep trouble now! that is what Arsenal now...players like nasri, fabregas, clichy and many more turn into great players and then leave us for being selfish. that's why mr. wenger we need some established players....

didn't hear you moaning about Nasri being selfish when he left Marseille for Arsenal

First of all, Fabregas didnt leave for the money.... He left coz Barca is where is heart lies
Also I think regarding the players changing clubs due to higher wages being offered, dont you think its justified if one feels that he is being underpaid...I remember Arsene let Flamini leave for Milan(at a time when he had a fantastic last season) just because he felt he was underpaid(the point here to remember is that even footballers are human and thus can succumb to the greed). Also it now is almost evident that Man City has more chance of winning trophies than Arsenal(atleast for a further couple of seasons) and thus a player trying to move there should just be classified as greedy...
Currently Wenger is sitting on a pile of 80+ mil. cash and I hope he spends it wisely to bring in a couple of experienced heads...
P.S : This post was not meant to offend Arsenal fans. I have the utmost respect for Wenger and his ideologies but times have changed and you Arsenal too must adapt with time

did i said he left for money??? i said the players were selfish! and please don't justify the wage structure of man city! everyone knows much much inflated salary they gives to players and attract them. and talking about transfer fee how do you justify the transfer fee of fabregas...and fyi flamini didn't left Arsenal coz he was under paid, he left because he was out of contract!
i guess i'm over reacting...it's champions league qualifying tonight and really don't know if they'll go through or not!

Well he was out of contract because he wasnt offered a contract with the wages he felt he was entitled to Also Man City has to pay these wages coz that is the only way they could entice all the big names to join the club... didnt get your point on the transfer fee for Fab... We all admit that Arsenal were short-changed and Fab could have easily brought in another 10 mil. if there was a bidding war for him... hard luck there...
Agreed! Chelsea are a formidable side now and it is expected that they should seriously challenge United/City this season (with possibly Modric joining as well).
Luka Modric still has a very decent chance of coming to chelsea and if this happens, he'll be in my starting XI anyday irrespective of who has to sit on the bench. Very few player in the EPL right now match the craft and elegance presented by Luka Modric.
As for Torres not firing, it is due...it has been due for sometime but when he does fire, it'll be nightmarish for the opposite teams. I feel he is still not settled in the Chelsea lineup and their style of play. As for the lineup.... ------------Torres--------------- Mata/Malouda -Modric - Anelka -------Lamps----Essien----------

I think they will play 4-3-3 ----------------------Cech
PUYS Rate MANU Chances of winning PL n CL this time
:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
Well being Man utd supporter I Definitely want them to win both..preferably beating Barca in the final.. but in hindsight I think we may win PL but it will take a lot of doing to win CL.. The 2nd half perfomance against hotspur gives a lot of encouragement and if we keep such standards who knows..what can happen.... I still think real and barca are the main contenders fr CL.....and yes fr PL money city are going to give us a run fr our money..with Nasri goin in they have best taem of PL in terms of names they have assembled there.. but we dont win trophies solely on names ..do we....
Man Utd never bought the League with its high spending..!!
god man city hav spent so much in last 3 years that they have topped the spending the PL era.. amazing u see such stories and then you completely understand the meaning of rags to riches story..and yes miracles do happen..from 3rd division to a strong contender fr PL..amazing man....
Kolo Toure in 2008 : "City may spend a lot, but they will never overtake the Top 4 of the Premiership" Gael Clichy in 2009 : "If any player only wants money, He will go to Manchester City." Samir Nasri in 2010 : "I think we have more merit as a club than those who have built their teams with millions of pounds."
