1) Employer/Affiliation
(Please enter full company name.)
2) Job information
3) Job Title
But I do have prior work experience before joining B-School, so what i need to mention in the form.Please let me know ASAP.

Hi Harry,
I am also in the same boat i.e. have prior workex and now am a full time student. I have done the following and i am able to navigate further.
Under the Job Information section,
1) Employer / Affiliation - I have mentioned by B-school name since I am affiliated with the same currently.
2) Job Title - Have mentioned it as "Student"
Just below the same, one can select "Student" in the occupation category.
In addition to this, at the bottom of the form their is a question about "are you currently a "- select the option of being a Full Time Student.

BA II plus professional is slightly costlier but better, in case you would want to use it for CFA or otherwise also. I found it a useful investment.

I would like to know about the usefulness of the the Bionic Turtle videos for FRM Level 1...any idea of its content?? i have schweser notes and core readings...wanted to know whether will the videos help me in understanding the concepts better...as in a supplement the readings i have..

BT videos are real good esp if you study as per their plan. I found them highly useful for Part1 and I plan to subscribe for Part2 also.

Do not wait till the last moment to register, sometimes the GARP website goes for a toss and it is tough to register within the deadline. I would suggest registering atleast 1-2 days in advance to take care of any emergency.
FRM is quite famous - I am sure - just that it is difficult for people to commit.
This is just perfect.
- For L1 I am sure even 2010 BT will suffice as nothing as changed in exam.
- For L2 Almost all the Topics are revamped, hence BT 2011 is must.
Lets wait for 3 days till 31 aug. Some more people will commit themselves for L2. Then we can go ahead and order BT 2011 L2.

I recommend start with Schweser, as it is available across India. The notes for FRM are not as good as the one for CFA, because FRM is relatively new & not as popular as CFA... hence is given a step motherly treatment by Schweser & others. Also i do not recommend reading the Core, core is even more clumsier than Schweser notes. FRM GARP does not have an in-house team who prepare notes exclusively for FRM, they notes are a cut copy of various books on Finance. You would never be able to appreciate & enjoy reading from Core, so don't waste your money on it.
Get yourself a Financial calculator & paper solving is the most important thing in FRM. Solve as many as you can.
Unlike CFA, in FRM it is unlikely that anyone would solve the entire paper, hence one has to be nimble footed & choose the easiest questions in the bunch & solve as many of them as possible.... the exam is about speed.
Yes you can defer FRM Level2 stating that you cannot attend the afternoon session for some reason.
FRM is worth giving as you are already preparing for CFA L2, CFA L1 will help you 30-40 in your L2 preparations. Also FRM L1 will give you great exposure to derivatives - it covers the entire derivatives that there is to learn. FRM derivatives is bigger than CFA L1 + L2 derivatives put together.
FRM will complement your CFA study.
